I normally do not write reviews although I felt compelled to write a review based on the excellent service I have recieved from Scafiddi Law. Michael has helped me through a very stressful and difficult situation. He is quick to respond and has saved me from many sleepless nights worrying about my case. Mike has been my lawyer but more like a friend. I remember when I 1st called him. I was so scared and didn't know what I was getting into. My charge was very serious that could have put me away for up to 15 years. Mike answered the phone and right away I knew he was a stand-up guy. He calmed me down and said we will get through this, TOGETHER! I ended up getting everything knocked down to something I would like and honestly, a deal that I couldn't pass up. I can't say enough about Malalai! Got myself into a situation where I was looking at a substantial amount of prison time. Malalai never once judged me and she was very honest about the direction she wanted to go. She was my lawyer throughout this journey, the work she put in was unbelievable. She kept me updated and I always had access to her. She answered all of my ridiculous questions and continued to encourage me throughout. At one point Mal made me a promise, and she kept it! I never dreamed of the favorable outcome Mal was able to obtain for me. Mal gave me a chance at life again and the ability to gain all of my rights again. No jail time, 240 days suspended, with 3 years probation! My family and I owe Malalai everything! Having never been in the system, I was worried about at least getting a fair shake. Being a person of color during these trying times, it was refreshing having Mal fight for me. Malalai is an honest, caring, and hardworking lawyer who genuinely cares about her clients.
