Having to evict a tenant isn't an enjoyable process, and COVID19 makes that process even more difficult. I first thought this would be something I could do on my own, but quickly realized I was way out of my element. I'm so glad I was referred to Attorney Daniel Marshall, who patiently walked me through the process and helped me to understand his strategy. Mr. Marshall went above and beyond in what started out as a simple eviction, but quickly became very complicated with Covid-19 and Rent Moratorium. Mr. Marshall shifted gears very quickly and kept our case in play when it would have very likely fallen apart with other less experienced attorneys. Our property management division ran into a very difficult situation of a sub-tenant who had not been approved by our brokerage residing in a unit when the COVID dynamic happened. For months I had tried to get the law firm we had historically used to assist, only to be directed to a web site, and then after sending documents, ignored. We were frustrated and our owner was becoming concerned at our ability to resolve tenant problems. I was given Daniel's name and number by a local successful attorney, as the guy who can get things done. Daniel advised us on the steps to take to serve property, and then devised a letter to the sub-tenant that articulated he would have to move within 30 days. And just like that, he moved out.
