I was seeking to make some changes to my current living trust (including will, health care directive and power of attorney) and contacted Jenkins & Jenkins, Estate Planning Attorneys for a free consultation after reading the numerous positive reviews. I met (by Zoom) with Caroline Jenkins and based on my previous experience with estate planning attorneys I can honestly say I was impressed with Caroline’s detailed explanations regarding my questions. For the first time I felt an attorney wasn’t rushing me or providing general answers. In addition, Caroline provided hypothetical situations I should consider when revising my living trust. I should note for the consultation you can meet with them person too; Zoom worked better for me. After the consultation we communicated by email verifying all the changes, I was emailed the drafts a couple weeks later and another week later I was sitting in their office signing the documents. A bonus was they prepared and filed the paperwork for the SD County Recorder’s office to update my deed with the Trust name. I would highly recommend their services!

I can’t believe I lucked out to find these guys——so down to earth, so helpful, and reasonable fees! We had a family lawyer previously where every time you called and asked 1 question about the trust he followed up with a ridiculous bill. It basically made the trust useless because we were always afraid of asking how to properly use it. Not the Jenkins! They are so helpful. They don’t mind explaining all the ins and outs of estate planning. They want you to do well and both Micheal and Caroline are so sharp. There is a reason why they are rated so highly. So grateful to have found them.

I had an excellent experience with Jenkins and Jenkins. Both Michael and Caroline took a lot of time to answer my questions and provide advice in areas that were unclear. I appreciated that they were extremely patient when I made edits to the documents and when they had to explain things more than once. I also liked that they have a young family so they probably have similar thinking in terms of estate planning objectives with their children in mind.

I luckily found Caroline and Michael Jenkins because we have a legal assistance contract and they were on the list. I can't believe how lucky we were to have contacted them. In fact, I contacted several law offices dealing with Trusts, Wills and Estate law and was most impressed by my initial contact with Caroline. She was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable from the start. I told them what I wanted to do and she gave me free advice about what to do even before I even committed to using their firm. Best decision I could have made. We were updating a trust we had previously created. They came to our house, went over everything we should know and do to insure that we had exactly what we needed. They did all the work. Even recorded the deed to our new house with the county and took care of all the paperwork involved with that. I couldn't be happier with the service and product we got from working with Caroline and Michael and wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone. In fact I already have.
