Kevin is the best lawyer ever. He put my life out of stress and misery. I was looking at jail/felonies, Kevin was able to get me out of both! Look no further, he is the nicest person and best lawyer. First off would like to say thank you to Kevin for all his hard work in getting the resolution I wanted. I was charge with a dui back in June lost unknowing what to do. I called several lawyers and was comfortable enough to talk with Kevin. He walked me threw my case pointed out flaws and didn’t give up the fight of know the whole truth of my case. And our result was amazing: we got BOTH the original allegation of DUI with traffic collision FULLY DISMISSED, and got ZERO jail time, saved over $1,600.00 in court fines/ fees.. This was my first time having to deal with a court case and a DUI and I was completely lost! I originally missed my court date which led me to have a warrant for my arrest and 20,000 BAIL! There was a misunderstanding and I didn’t have the original sheet with the court date on it. I only received my license hearing date. I immediately called a friend that is a lawyer and she recommended Kevin for me. He was prompt in setting up a meeting and very easy to work with! I felt in good hands! The police arrested me for an allegation of a DUI, along with an additional allegation of driving with a blood alcohol content over .08%. (I was .10) And they were seeking prosecution for these charges against me. A conviction of these charges could have resulted in county jail time up to 180 days, and being found guilty of driving over .08% allegation would have resulted in an automatic license suspension. But we fought back. And our result was amazing: we got BOTH the original allegation of DUI dismissed, and the allegation of driving with .10% dismissed as well! I’m so glad i wasn’t convicted of DUI or Wet and Reckless because that’s very bad for your insurance rates! But our outcome was really amazing. We got zero jail time, saved over $1,200.00 in court fines/ fees, with the very minimum informal/ summary probation. Technically I can live wherever I like and travel wherever I want over the next 2 years and nobody could say otherwise. No need to check in with anyone, no probation officer, no drug tests, etc., nothing. I Just stay out of trouble. Further, after the summary probation is over, I can get the whole damn case fully expunged off my record, so that I can legally write that I was never charged or convicted of anything in this case! This was overall a very excellent result! Now just waiting for the result of my license hearing Nov 22. I have a good feeling about it. Update coming..

I was facing a 2nd DUI conviction with an added refusal charge. Things weren’t looking good for me to say the least. I called many lawyers, but Kevin just seemed like the right fit and he didn’t disappoint. From the get go he was very professional, and always told it like it is, we knew it was an uphill battle but he always assured me that he would do all he could to get me a fair deal. They wanted to throw the book at me from the beginning and it was all very stressful, despite this he made my experience go very smoothly, always was on top of everything answered all my questions, even picked me up when I was down. The cherry on top was the deal he got for me, DUI and refusal charges dropped, no jail time, over 2000$ in fees dropped to under 300$. This was truly a bad situation that was completely turned around due to the professionalism and diligence of Kevin Moghtanei. If you’re in a bad spot he’s the guy to call. Thanks again Kevin.

Kevin did an outstanding job helping me through my case. Was always straight forward and honest about everything that could possibly happen good and bad. I found Kevin from DCD Law in September of 2018, I had a very tricky case that was going to cost me a lot of money and fines, suspension of my driver’s license and possibly jail time. When I called for a quote/consultation, Kevin was very comforting and easy to talk to and assured me he would figure this out for me, I was completely devastated and was expecting the worst. It took months before my court appearance date and dmv hearings were scheduled but he made sure to keep me updated throughout the whole process. Not only did he get my case rejected and dismissed by the court but he also got my dmv suspension set aside and now I am completely cleared and have a chance to continue on with my life. Now he is working to have my records cleared as well. I couldn’t recommend DCD Law enough, the fee they charge is so worth it for what they saved me in fines.

First of all, no one wants legal troubles. If they do arise, no one wants to have to to look up attorneys and go meet with them. I met with a couple of different attorneys before hiring Kevin for my case. Let me tell you, best decision I could have made. Without airing out all my dirty laundry here in yelp, as Dj’s and people who work in nightlife in general, it’s not uncommon to hear about DUI cases in this line of work, it’s important to know your rights, what kind of charges you are facing and what can be done to reduce those charges. Kevin worked with me from Day 1, to prep me for court, and how we could in fact get those charges reduced. I had my final hearing this past Friday, and couldn’t have been more satisfied with the results. Again without going into detail, Kevin went above and beyond to strike charges from my case, and reduce fines to nothing basically. California has a hard on for these types of cases, but with the right attorney, you do have options, options I didn’t even know were available to me. Last thing I want to point out is this.. I sat and watched different attorneys appear in front of the same judge as my case, and man let me tell you I’m so happy that I hired Kevin. He came in after these other defendants, and proved to me he was worth every cent. Little things. Little things can make all the difference with these judges.
