My wife and son were arrested on bogus charges in Tahoe, and I needed a good lawyer. A good friend recommended Pelta Law, and it was the best decision I could have made. Marc Pelta recommended that my wife not bail out, as there had been no charges filed at that time and did not believe there would be any filed, and he was right. My wife stuck it out and was released without charges ever being filed. Marc knew how to reach someone in the DA's office and was able to talk to them over the weekend. Yes, he worked on a weekend to help me and my family. He was able to convey the facts of the incident to the DA, which the shady SLT police did not, and at that time the DA decided to release my wife with no charges filed. Marc wrote a letter to the DA's office that in my opinion was the perfect combination of reason and persuasion. Could not have hired a better lawyer! Gary

I was arrested on trumped up felony child endangerment charges because I defended my mother from getting beaten up by some bikers. Marc was compassionate, understanding and listened to our concerns.
