This review is long overdue. At a time when I was feeling hopeless while experiencing one of life's challenges, Daniel Feder heard me out, believed in me and together we were triumphant! More than negotiating an agreeable settlement, Dan reinforced my sense of perseverance. Dan was extremely informative and made the whole process as stress free as possible; from the depo to the settlement negotiations, I felt confident having him on my side. All the best my man!!

I can't say enough good things about Dan! I was looking for an experienced employment attorney to review an employment contract with a start-up. I was in a unique position in that I was going to be a California based employee for a company based out of Europe with a satellite office in Georgia. I found the contract to be a bit confusing and wanted an expert opinion. Dan's extensive experience as an employment attorney was evident in his initial assessment of the employment contract. It is clear he is very knowledgeable about different employee rights under various state labor laws. Even though there were specific clauses in the contract that he was as not familiar with (due to the governance under European law), he was able to highlight the implications of a specific term, offer sound advice on potential risks and thoughtfully walk through the benefits and drawbacks of possible responses I could counter with. Not only is he incredibly responsive, he is very personable and engaging - I immediately felt comfortable with him. Although he had a heavy case load and was in court during the day, Dan was able to quickly turn around a red line of the employment contract and made himself available in the evenings to address any questions I had. He was very patient and spent as much time with me as I needed to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend Dan to any of my friends or industry colleagues - he will be the first person I call if I ever need to retain the services of an employment attorney again.

Dan represented me against The UC Regents, During the settlement hearing he folded like a towel. He allowed the judge to insult me and insinuate that I was lying it was humiliating. My case went from being substantial basically down to nothing and the little that was set aside for me Dan took a large portion even though his share was already considerably larger. The Judge actually encouraged him to do so. The Judge and Dan let me know that justice is only for people of a certain race and that nobody on a jury would side with me. That was my experience. In retrospect I should have went with a larger firm.

Dan's firm handled a rather complex employment lawsuit for me that was recently resolved to my utter satisfaction. The achieved resolution was the result of Dan's insightful analysis of the complexities of the case at the outset, which resulted in a well-crafted strategy. Early on, Dan involved his associate, Claire Cochran, who proved to be an excellent advocate, expertly implementing Dan's strategic framework while also countering the actions of opposing counsel deftly and effectively. This was a long case with a lot of rancor. Dan and Claire were phenomenally calm and professional, all the while keeping me informed and included in the process. I had the opportunity to work with both Dan and Claire in depositions and found both to be excellent at their craft. Ultimately, my case went to mediation. Dan handled the mediation and I am convinced his experience and skills were instrumental in the favorable outcome of the mediation process and lawsuit. I never appreciated how true those attorney’s commercials about needing someone to fight for you are - Until it happened to me. I know that sounds cliché, but standing up when you’ve been wronged is overwhelming. You quickly realize you need help - you need someone to stand up for you.
