I’m not really sure where to begin, but I can easily say Sam is the best attorney I’ve ever worked with. About a year ago I reached out because my family needed some help in Contra Costa county. From the get go, he was personable, reliable, transparent and honest,and always picked up his phone. The entire process of working with Sam on something highly stressful was almost enjoyable. Sam is a fantastic criminal defense lawyer. A friend of mine got into a bit of trouble and I helped him look for a lawyer and so glad we found Sam. Gave him a call on a Sunday afternoon and he got right to work by listened to the details of the case, walked us through the process and started working on the case immediately. He gave clear instructions on what needed to be done, explained how everything was going to work and that he would do everything possible to get the case dismissed. He was available for calls/questions throughout the week and he was able to get the case dismissed. He couldn't have made an extremely stressful situation anymore easy on us so if you're looking for a criminal defense lawyer who knows how to beat a case, I'd highly recommend you give Sam a call.

Sam is an excellent lawyer, always on point and very knowledgeable. Criminal cases are never easily on the shoulders, but Sam takes the necessary time to be available and guide you throughout the whole process. He is also very quick to respond to emails and text messages which is a great plus. I highly recommend him!

About 6 months ago I was dealing with some criminal trouble. I reached out to Sam after someone referred him. We spoke on the phone and he made me feel comfortable despite the situation. I cannot really go into detail, but this was my first time being in trouble in my life. Sam walked me through how the criminal system works, explained what to expect. I have to say, everything happened exactly how he explained it. His work is very transparent. He let me look at the police report and everything else that was included. He explained to me all my options and any consequence of whatever choice I’d made. He responds to texts, emails, calls almost immediately. If you want someone to fight for you Sam is your guy. Sam was able to make the court system as painless as possible while at the same time obtaining the best possible outcome for my case. He knows his stuff and is not afraid to go to trial if need be. The day before we were set for trial he was able to get the ADA to agree to dropping the most serious of my charges. Hopefully I won't be needing an attorney again in the future but would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!

He didn’t quit until my friends charges were completely dropped and he wouldn’t let the DA or police take advantage of my friend who spoke English as a second language and didn’t understand the court system.
