Sam is a great defense lawyer. He takes time to talk to you about your case and he will let you know of all important updates throughout the process. He knows exactly what to do in each case he takes and most importantly he gets results. He isn't afraid to go to court and fight for you and he knows how to get cases dismissed and won in trial. 3 words to describe Nors's efforts with my case: persistent, knowledgable, professional. My DUI case from April 2011 resurfaced after about 6 years after I was the victim of a hit and run accident in SF in January 2017. Unbeknownst to me, there had been a warrant out for my arrest, and I then had to deal with the case after I was informed in 2011 that the case would be discharged after one year. The clerk had told me that I would be contacted if/when the case would be put on calendar, which never happened. Apparently this had become a regular occurrence in the SF court process years ago, as they were backlogged with too many cases, yet failed to notify the defendant/party involved of the warrant, nor even contact them. Upon my first phone consultation with Nors, he made me aware of this and that he had already dealt with similar cases that had been dropped by the DA office, some with far worse charges. The process took awhile, but thanks to Nors's persistence and knowledge of the SF DA office and unparalled experience with DUI cases in general, he was completely focused on having the charges dropped completely. Nors was completely honest and upfront about the possibilities had the DA attempted to prosecute the case, but never promised me a he result, which other attorneys had done. If you are reading these reviews and exercising your due diligence, I know what you are going through. I was more stressed than most people who had a DUI charge, and became both obsessive and compulsive about finding the "perfect" attorney for my case. I am so glad I consulted Nors, and just wish I had done it sooner. I hope you avoid going through the days and weeks of stress that I put myself through, and instead retain Nors. Good luck.

I found out about Sam after my buddy told me he used a great DUI lawyer and I decided to call him when I got a speeding ticket. We talked for a few minutes and then he emailed me the proper paperwork and I emailed him my ticket. That was all the work I had to do. A few months later he gave me a call and said my case was dismissed. Sam didn't over promise anything, was honest, and is a man of his word. This was the most hassle free experience I think you could have with a criminal lawyer. I will definitely be calling Sam again if I get more tickets.

Sam was recommended by a friend as a go-to guy for a speeding ticket my mom got on New Years Eve speeding through 19th Avenue (and I mean really speeding). He picked up the phone right away and was able to calm her down, which is a close to impossible job in itself. Sam explained what she can expect and went over the steps that he will take to ensure her record won't be impacted. He talked to us about his experience as a criminal defense attorney specializing in DUI law and how that experience will play to our advantage because he is known in the court room and is comfortable being aggressive on behalf of his clients. I myself have gone to attorneys in San Francisco and San Mateo counties for prior traffic violations, paid money, but never actually had the attorney himself take the time to speak with me. And even then, after paying the fee,I  had to be the one following up on the progress of my case. Its been 2 weeks and Sam has already checking in with my mom twice! We are very happy with the service and level of communication we have received thus far, and I am hoping Sam can get my moms case dismissed.
