When fighting a case one can grow to be extremely impatient and aggravated in the fact that it may seem to take forever to come to a resolution, especially one that will work in his or her favor. Sanjay has been my lawyer for two years, and during that time he had witnessed me at some of my lowest points of life; however, he didn't give up on me , it was at this point I realized not only was he pulling for the best possible deal for me, but he was actually supporting me in my overall sense of well being. There is no way I could made it through the emotional torment and stress of fighting a case without the dedication and wits of my attorney. When it seemed like we were out of options, Sanjay did not give up. I would like to refer to him as Houdini the magician for the fact that he always had another card to play even when it seemed like we were beaten. Even though we have reached an awesome resolution that is going to keep my record clean I will say it was not easy , I think my case was probably the most difficult case in Contra Costa County that even the Judge and District Attorney told me on my last court date "mr. Kruenegel , you have one of the hardest working most dedicated lawyer we have seen". That is coming from an honorable Judge and well respected District Attorney. I would recommend Sanjay to anyone who is looking for a real lawyer that will not give up on who you are as a person and what you stand for.

My previous Attorney was a money hungry rattlesnake, and only wanted to be an Attorney to get people to invest false hope only to find themselves thousands of dollars in debt with no resolution. After I hired Sanjay Schmidt I realized that there are Attorneys out there that actually go to school to learn how to help and defend people. Not only was Sanjay the best priced lawyer I could find, it was like an investment because he had worked far past any amount I could ever offer. No hidden fees, no shady requests for money, there was the retainer and that was it. I honestly feel like I owe him another retainer fee for how hard he had worked for me. I don't think he even knew he would be fighting for me over two years when I signed him, but he was honest and true to his word, and truly worked 110% for me all the time.

This lawyer got my brother out of the most extreme bind possible. Even I didn't think it was possible, my brother was looking at 20 years in jail, and now is only serving 3 months on ankle monitor EHD. This lawyer was extremely patient and creative when it came down to working a deal within the legal system.

Sanjay never gave up on the case even when we felt there was no hope left. He stayed positive thruout the whole ordeal.
