I would not use a lawyer at all. At least until your first appeal. I was approved after my second denial and would have saved 6000. They had an easy payday with me.
Not very informative. Never answered any of my questions. All in all pretty useless.

My Case was eventually won - but contact was between difficult and impossible. My case handler changed constantly. They would call if they needed something but would never respond to phone calls or emails. In a full year I spoke to someone maybe 3 times. So if you trust the process and can get by without updates or answers, the results were great!
