Truly amazing service top to bottom. Cannot express how much of a life changing decision this made when having Traci represent me. From the front office desk, to everyone in that law firm, full professionalism, extremely helpful and will truly fight for you at all costs!

I've used Mello & Pickering since 2021 and have never regretted it. They are an excellent firm with class, expertise, and care. I've had the honor of having Jessica Pellerin represent me over the last two years, she is an impeccable attorney. She is incredibly thorough, researched, patient, forward thinking, prepared, empathetic, and always always centers the child's best interest. She'll fight for you while never ever losing sight of the child and has great insight into what a judge is likely to do. She has represented me from issues ranging from a move-away case, school placement, and holiday schedules. As a gay mother who remarried a woman, I was concerned about how homophobia from my ex-husband might play out at our hearing but she handled the topic with so much care and of course, expertise on the law. I would recommend her to anyone, especially those that have complex cases. I would recommend this firm over and over.

I had a terrible experience with this law firm. I was looking for an attorney to represent me in my divorce so I set up a free consultation to see if this would be a good fit. I called in, they asked me a few questions, then they set up a consultation with Jessica Pellorin. I set this up on a Thursday and they couldn't see me until the following tuesday, which was fine until I got a call the night before saying Jessica had something conflicting with this appointment. So I had to wait even longer to meet and consult with her. Once I actually had a consultation with Jessica she was so rude, degrading, and made me feel as though all of my questions were a waste of time. She would talk to me as if I knew what all of this lawyer jargon means... that's what I needed her for. Jessicas long pauses and inexcusable exhales after I would ask a question about what she was trying to "explain" to me. Jessica Pellorin is so rude, made me feel worse and more stressed out than I did before the call. I am so glad this was just a consultation, because I could not imagine paying someone to treat me this way. DO NOT BOTHER with this law firm. I found a new lawyer right away that made me feel important and like I am their number one priority right from the start. Obviously this firm doesn't want the business... they are disgraceful.

Jennifer and her whole team at Mello Pickering were amazing from day one. They were professional, caring and genuinely looked out for my best interests. Navigating a divorce can be highly charged and emotional and Jennifer made sure to keep things moving forward in a way that did not enflame an already difficult situation. Needless to say, divorce is expensive but Jennifer and her team made sure to keep things direct and to the point in order to not increase my costs. I really can't say enough good things about Jennifer and everyone at Mello Pickering for helping me through an extremely contentious divorce in the best way possible. Don't look any further if you are in need of the best family lawyer in San Jose.

I've had full physical custody of my two boys since my divorce in 2011. They're father moved out of state and although I was willing to work with him on visitation, he felt like I was being unfair. When he served me with custody papers, I was so worried and anxious of what was to come. I have always tried to do what's in the best interest of my boys, but I was worried that maybe he would not be reasonable with what he wanted versus what I was proposing (which is exactly what happened). I spoke with a few attorneys before I found Mello & Pickering. The other attorneys sounded out of touch and cold to my situation, which made me feel even more panicked. I called to set up a consult with Traci Pickering and immediately felt like I was talking to someone who had my boys best interest at heart. She focused on the facts and helped me feel at ease with the whole scenario. I was almost in tears with total relief... Traci made me truly feel like she had my back. Traci decided that her associate Jessica Pellerin would be perfect to help me with my response and in court as we proceeded. Jessica was extremely thorough and really made me feel like she understood my situation. After a failed mediation with my ex, we were set to move forward to JCC. The cost of this was really racking up and with my ex also holding out on child support, I spoke with Jessica (who was soon going on maternity leave) we decided together to have me represent myself. She assured me that she would be there for me if I had any questions. My case was then transferred back to Traci to be on a consulting basis as JCC approached. The day before the JCC, I spoke with Traci and she answered all my questions, coached me on what to expect, and reassured me that I could handle it. I cannot say enough that these women are the best thing that has happened to me since all this drama first began. What an inspiration it is to have extremely professional and strong women help me through this incredibly scary and uncertain process. If you're in need of help these women are the ones to go to! Thank you Jessica and Tracy, I couldn't have handled it without you!

Scheduled a consultation with Jennifer Mello, tried asking questions and it was like pulling teeth, she seemed to have little interest in helping me or gaining my business. Super disappointing.

Simply incompetent. She shakes in front of other aggressive attorneys from bigger firms.

I have called to schedule a consultation and they took down my call back information and i havent received a call back. Based on what i i have seen of the reviews. I don't know anymore.

Traci is a consummate professional, lawyer and my highly trusted advisor. I've employed her since 2013 for my divorce and since then periodically with questions as they've come up. Without fail she's responsive, and I feel like she's been extremely knowledgeable about divorce and family law. In particular, I feel she's extremely reasonable and always seeks to paint both sides along with attorney's costs, so I'm fully apprised of the consequences of any action I might need to take. It's that common sense approach rather than a bull dog mentality that I feel is her particular strength. I totally recommend her.

This firm has been known to over charge you. They are good at hanging you dry but will like all lawyers lie and twist things!
