Thank you so much, Nan, for all of your help. From start to finish you worked to get me a great outcome and kept me and my parents in the loop on everything. I cannot express my appreciation enough.

Nan has been my lawyer since 2015. In 2016 I had 4 or 5 charges and Nan helped me lower it to 2, including a domestic violence charge. Im not very good at staying out of trouble and the next few years I picked up a few more charges. When I didnt hire Nan I stayed in jail for 6 weeks, the longest I have stayed within these 5 years. In 2019 I got a DUI and Nan helped me. This year I got a 2nd DUI along with another DV and Nan was always there for me. This woman has helped me deal with so many difficult cases and has always been in my corner. She never puts you down and is always supportive. She knows the way the courts work and the people. Others here have called her a powerhouse and I would have to agree. She is a no-nonsense type and makes miracles happen in the courtroom. Most recently, the courts wanted to remand me but Nan stepped in and told them no. This happened just 9/30/2020. Nan has helped me with DVs, DUIs, VoPs, possession charges, all more than one. Definitely give Nan a call if you have a DUI or something similar, and I would also highly recommend her and give her a shot if you just need a good lawyer that will fight for you until the end. Nan has been my guardian angel and has been keeping me out of prison. I have made many mistakes and I have always had a better outlook of life with Nan on my side. Its almost crazy how I have been given so many chances because of Nan. It is up to me to change. Thank you, Nan!

I got referred to Nan and it was the best thing that could have happened to me. Long story short I had an issue I thought would severely damaged my way of life. After talking to her she put me at ease. She told me what to do to fix the issue and reassured me that everything was gonna be all right. And on top of all that she didn’t even charge me. I can’t recommend Nan enough!

If you're ever battling with legal matters Nan is the person to go to. I had a difficult case and she managed to get me the best outcome ever. She was very attentive to my case and responded to my messages with questions right away. After your initial consultation with her I promise you that you will leave there with no doubt that you want her to be your attorney.

By far the best consultation and representation that I could ask for. Some lawyers are “smooth talkers” but Nan is an “action taker.” She’s straight to the point and direct, and she definitely means business. As it pertains to my case, she fought 110% and didn’t give up until the best possible outcome was achieved. I’m certain that many other lawyers in Santa Clara County could not have achieved the same outcome, I think this is partly due to the fact that she’s well-connected with decision makers in the courts. I’ve read two of the negative reviews on here but I can honestly say she will offer the best legal advice. As it pertains to the other negative review you get what you pay for, cheaper isn’t always better and she is more than willing to work with you as far as payments go, if your case was dismissed that’s the best possible outcome in my opinion. If you have any legal matters in Santa Clara County she’s definitely the one who you should retain!

I was represented by Nan L. Bucknell law firm in a complex and difficult domestic violence case. I was the victim of a fraud scheme by an undocumented individual whom I married after a short period of dating. Shortly after our wedding, she set about fabricating evidence of domestic violence in order to exploit a program called VAWA and gain immigration benefits in the United States. The scheme was perpetrated by criminal elements in both California and Nevada, some of whom occupied positions of public trust in the medical community. My prospects were very bleak, and a conviction seemed inevitable. Ms. Bucknell brought in one of the associate attorneys at the law firm, Leila Vaez-Iravani, to work on the case as a team. Ms. Vaez-Iravani was professional and highly competent. Together we assembled an extensive collection of evidence. The package contained numerous documents I normally would not have had access to, and in many occasions did not even know existed, which they were able to obtain through subpoenas. It included medical and electronic evidence, court records, police recordings, and witness statements, which proved crucial to my defense. Ms. Bucknell guided the process at critical legal junctures, and her decades-long experience proved invaluable in the complex legal maneuverings involving both federal and state laws. In the end the case was DISMISSED “with strong evidence suggesting factual innocence.” A senior Department of Homeland Security officer who reviewed the file commended Ms. Bucknell’s work. Finally, I have to include some comments from a personal perspective. The aura of self-confidence Ms. Bucknell projected, the extensive legal knowledge she so obviously possessed, and her unwavering dedication to the oath of defending her client, gave me much needed solace and hope during this terrifying ordeal. If you are facing criminal charges, retain her and never look back.

Thanks Nan for all your help. I was referred to Nan by another lawyer I had originally approached to help with a legal matter in the midst of COVID. Nan responded to me quickly and assessed my situation on the phone. She referred me someone else that she felt my be a better fit for my needs. I had an awesome experience with Nancy Bucknell! I reached out to her after receiving a bench warrant. I highly recommend Nancy because despite COVID-19 going on she attended to my case in a timely manner and was able to get me a court date within a week.
