Mr. Hoover (Jim), was able to handle my pre-nuptial agreement expedicially and professionally. I found him to be personable and friendly. I have no intention of ever needing them again but I am confident I will be well represented if I need them.

In 2002, I consulted and retained Robert Hoover for my divorce. To me Robert felt more like a loving father figure than my lawyer. I had so much trust and confidence because Robert was above and beyond any lawyer I has encountered. I was able to continue my daily life without the stress of the divorce process.. Halfway through my divorce, Jim joined his father and became Partners in Hoover and Hoover. I knew they were a Maverick Team and an Ace of a Firm. March 2018, 16 years later, I contacted the Firm because I was called back into Family Court. Robert had semi-retired but Jim was always there for me and he was the Ace on hand for the Win. Jim was Remarkable with Exceptional Knowledge and Grace, both times. I know my life would not have been the same as it is without Robert and Jim Hoover. From my experience as a female getting a divorce, I would like all women going through the Family Law system to have the same privilege that this firm provides for the best outcome for themselves and their children as I had. Since November I've been working with Julia Bressman and Jim Hoover on my divorce, custody issues and a restraining order. My day to day contact was with Julia Bressman and she is an absolute rockstar. I read another review and it said "Julia fought fearlessly for what was right..." and I couldn't agree more. My budget was limited an Julia continued to council me on how we could most effectively use my funds to achieve my objectives. And in the end, she got the job done. I can't say enough about Jim Hoover. It meant a lot to me that every time I walked in the door, he could recite every detail of my case. He knew my story and I feel like he cared about my family. His experience was invaluable, and he was very accurate in counseling me on what to do and what the likely outcome would be. THAT is the kind of expertise I'm willing to pay for. The staff at Hoover Krepelka is very professional, understanding and helpful. When I needed copies of documents, invoices, etc., their responses were prompt. This is most unprofessional experience I had with this firm. Most senior partner recruit new client and thereafter get dumped to an associate and barely any involvement from partner. No follow-through what they said they will do. I found out my associate made commitments to my other party and I wasn't not even aware of it.... THIS WAS MY REASON TO FIRE THEM WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT!. Their interest is to charge billable and keep the matter dragging. For simple house appraiser they spent hours of works whereas cost of the appraiser was $225 (cost to my attorney was beyond imagination). I dealt with Julia and Travis in this firm and felt that they have big words to use like strategy and execution didn't happened. Few times things went wrong and I was extremely disappointed but partner made no effort to understand the frustration dealing with their firm. Julia never listened to me and follow-through and felt cannot trust her (gave more than 2 chance before firing this firm). More than once I have caught is making up the stuff to cover-up their mess-up during my conversation relating to my case. Even dealing with their billing dept I have experience she promise to reverse of the charges due to service issue and new done anything about it, after I brought this to their attention, they out-rightly don't remember promising this. Travis is a great talker but without any action. He as a partner never reads and respond any email and he has no fear saying he doesn't have time to read his email (why to take new clients if you cannot respond) and needed to make 5 follow-up before he can respond. His response was he doesn't have to read emails... totally unprofessional but I believe they in ally for longer to keep up this attitude. ANYWAY THIS IS ENOUGH OF EVERYTHING!!! Absolutely, terrible experience and will suggest to stay away as they're after your money and business. I feel they're also taking emotional advantages of people so that they're billable meter is running. I spend so much money and don't feel I got 10% worth of work but of course this is a losing battle when you're already going through your emotional state.
