Divorcing from a woman with lawyers up and down her family tree was daunting and yet I’m not about to back down when I know I’m in the “right”. I met with LISA from a referral from my sister. We talked on the phone and in her office multiple times. She helped me before I was even a client and made it very clear. There are several parties in the divorce and she and her firm was one of them. So was my ex legal team and then kids and, in essence, the elephant in the room was that if we didn’t figure it all out even if it was slightly leaning unfairly on either side it was better than dragging it on. Lisa is not that greedy lawyer that wants you to win at all costs. Which ends up costing SO MUCH MORE. She is a breath of fresh are and a good friend. I left a fight on good terms, with my head high and have asked for her advise many more times thereafter mostly to my contentment she has offered I not use her services and start a fight. She protects her clients, very smart, young but experienced, and I think proves a rare breed of legal that isn’t all about the money.

I was married for 5 years and I filed for divorce in 2014. I thought it would be a smooth divorce process because we were married for only 5 years and we had no assets together that we had to fight over. That was not the case. The judge that presided over my case was new to family law and as result of that the judge exceeded her authority in several instances. She ordered retroactive spousal support to an absurd day with NO end date. My x wife's attorney asked the judge "can you do that?". They even could not believe what she ordered. I was devastated. I was referred to Lisa Rose McCall to appeal the courts ruling. Lisa was awesome!!! First of all and more importantly she is very competent. She responded to all my questions and concerns in a timely matter. She worked extremely hard on my case. I felt more at ease because I felt like I had someone on my corner that sympathized with what I was going through and was genuinely interested in helping me get out of the hole I was in. She was able to reverse the unfair courts ruling and settle with my x wife. I will always be very thankful to Lisa for what she did for me. Don't hesitate to give her a call if you find yourself in a hole like I was in. It will be the best call you will ever make.

After family court awarded a 5-year restraining order against my ex-husband, he felt compelled to appeal the decision in the appellate court, even though he had no real legal standing. Not wanting to take the chance on messing up my own response brief (in pro per), I met with Lisa McCall at her office and she was incredible. She listened, provided insight, was extremely professional, asked the right questions, didn't talk over me, and her memory of the facts and how to respond legally and take action was amazing to watch. She had to peruse over volumes and volumes and volumes of legal pleadings and the trial transcripts in order to prepare. She communicates efficiently via email and calls, doesn't over bill, and really took my case on with vigor and the passion required to win and uphold the family court verdict. At the last minute she was required to go in and argue the case orally, and she was amazing. Even my divorce attorney decided to appear to watch her in action and was amazed.
