I am in the process of joining the military and needed a written disposition for a case that I had about 5 years ago. After going through a run around in the court house as well as the DAs office I was able to get ahold of Mrs. Eeles, who was my public defender in the case. She was more than happy to help me with the situation and made what was already a complicated situation much much easier. I can’t thank her enough for the work she has done for me. If anyone is in need of legal help /advice just know she will genuinely help help you with all her power. 11/10

I hired Rachel for an old ticket that was outstanding on my record. I was very intimidated by the potential outcome and the entire legal process. I made a phone call to Rachel to discuss my case, she made me feel at ease with the situation. She returned any unanswered phone call timely. She is extremely knowledgeable and fought for the best possible outcome of my case. She was very attentive and patient, making sure I understood the process.

Rachel handled my case promptly and efficiently and went above and beyond my expectations. She personally delivered legal documents to the recipient to make sure they got to the right hands. My 19 year old son got into a bit of trouble while visiting Santa Barbara and we needed to find a local attorney to help as we live several hundred miles away. Rachel returned my call within minutes of leaving our message. We explained our predicament and she began to ease our worries immediately. Without asking for us to retain her, she immediately began to tell us our options, the likely next steps, likely options to defend and/or resolve the matter, timelines, what to expect. etc. She made us feel better and we felt confident in officially retaining her services. She was responsive to all of our questions, proactive in securing viable options to resolve the case and ultimately the matter was closed without an arrest or even the DA deciding to pursue charges. She was honest, right up front, with her hourly rate and what she thought the total legal fees would amount to. She even advised us that it would be better (cheaper for us) to retain her on an hourly basis rather than a flat fee based on her evaluation of the amount of her time it would take to resolve the case. In fact, we came in under budget and she issued a refund check for the unused portion of our retainer. We did not know any attorneys in Santa Barbara County nor did we know anything about this area of the law. She really helped us and everything she told us in our initial conversation proved correct in the end. I would recommend Rachel, without hesitation, to anyone needing legal help in SB.

Rachel exceeded all of my expectations and did it in such a gracious and caring way. When I interviewed other lawyers they told me they could only do part of what I wanted but when I spoke to Rachel she said she could do it all no problem and for a lower price! She managed to get my record sealed and for that I will forever be grateful for her services. I hope I never need her help again but if I did I would go straight back to her!

Rachel took my son's case on a very reasonable retainer. She appeared on his behalf and was able to persuade the judge to order him to attend some classes and community service in exchange for a dismissal. She was very communicative throughout the process and explained each step. It is my hope not to need to hire Rachel again, but I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of an attorney.

My son received a minor in possession (MIP) of alcohol while visiting a friend at UCSB from San Jose. My son thought he could handle the matter on his own, but quickly realized he needed help. We reached out to Rachel Eeles by phone at the eleventh hour. She took the time to explain the process and options. Rachel informed us of the Zona Seca program and what she could do for us. We paid her very reasonable retainer fee online and she went to court that same day, scheduled an extension and put us in contact with Zona Seca. This all happened during the December holidays and ran into the new year; Rachel was travelling abroad but still took the time to reply to my email while on vacation. I am appreciative of her prompt attention and expertise, she helped resolve a matter that could have potentially been a big mess for us. My son’s driver license was not suspended, our insurance rates will hopefully not increase and my son didn’t have to take the time from his school schedule to go to court. We never met Rachel in person, everything was handled either by phone or email, but she relieved a lot of stress and worry and handled the process in the best possible manner and with the least waste of time. I highly recommend hiring Rachel for similar situations.

My son was in the wrong place at the wrong time on his way to be at his dying fathers bedside in Arizona. He was charged wirh several things because he pulled over to sleep and did not realize that he was in an evacuation zone after the mudslide and he had items that are not legal in California - and things looked very bleak - my being out of state in Colorado made things even more challenging.
