He kept communication with us in a simple manner that all parties fully understood what we were dealing with, and the possible outcomes. I first met Tom while I was desperately looking for an attorney to represent me as I was being taken advantage of by my ex partner’s Lawyer. We, my ex and I, were so far apart on what we thought was a fair settlement and without Tom’s representation her lawyer was about to legally settle the case without my input or side of the story. I had a very hard time trying to find a law firm to even hear my case. I was in a long term relationship, but not married (dumb move on my part) and most lawyers in Santa Cruz were not interested in even hearing what I had to say let alone represent me. When I first met in Tom’s office, his demeanor was calming and reassuring. He let me know what the facts were in my case, as far as the law was concerned, and let me know what options I had if I wanted to spend the money to have a judge hear my case. I would undoubtedly hire Tom again, and I fully recommend him in the matters of Family Law. I recently went through an unfair eviction by a terrible property management company .I had been a model tenant for almost 3 years.
