I first learned of Edmund Yan/Tree of Life Law as I googled the web regarding a real estate tax law change. He popped up with a YouTube video on the subject. I was impressed by his knowledge and transparency, and did a little more research on the suite of services he offered. My wife and I were in the middle of soliciting legal referrals for a family trust, so the timing was ideal. I did a little more research around the web to see if I could learn some about his education and experience. From what I found, I decided to contact him and scheduled an introductory call with his front-end person. After providing a set of information, we met with Edmund via Zoom and went through the process of discussing all the necessary attributes of our family trust. Despite our meetings being via zoom, the contact was personal and thorough. And very convenient given we live an hour+ north of his office. Document review and signing were seamless. Clear and easy to follow instructions guided each step through to execution. We are nearly complete with our filing and funding. Lastly, the lifetime service and meeting option is a great comfort too. Great value.

During a difficult time of losing my husband, Edmund played a huge role in helping me re-organize my life. My late husband and I had never planned ahead regarding purchasing burial plots, funeral expenses, or creating a living trust for our children. I’ve been wanting to get my estate planning done since 2022. The most challenging thing was to find an attorney that I felt like I could trust. OUTSTANDING. I originally intended to create my trust, will, power of attorney, carry-over will, etc. by watching Edmund's excellent You Tube Videos. However, once I realized how difficult it is to do it perfectly, I opted to have Tree of Life Law Firm do it for me.
