I had only two weeks to do a Trust. Other lawyers turned me down saying they needed more time. I went to the Internet, thinking I would do it on my own. After listening to classes given by Edmund Yan, I realized it would be more complicated than I had thought. When we wanted to make a living trust, we were thinking we would do it ourselves to save money. We found information on how to do this on the web. The best and most detailed information seemed to come from someone named Edmund Yan at Tree of Life Law Firm. The fact that Mr. Yan was a specialist in this area gave us confidence that it would be possible for us to do this by ourselves. This information was given freely and included on-line web sessions. It seemed surprising and gratifying that someone who makes a living doing this kind of legal procedure would give out significant information for free that would allow people to do it by themselves. Having gone through the free information we concluded that 1. We could do it. 2. It would be tedious and time consuming. 3. We could easily make mistakes. Finally we decided that it would be worth our while to employ Mr. Yan's firm. We found the following features attractive: 1. Edmond Yan was a specialist who only did this kind of work. 2. A flat fee was quoted for the entire process. 3. A detailed list of services was included. 4. Most of the "legwork" would be done by Mr. Yan's firm. 5. A notary would be sent to our house to notarize all the necessary documents. 6. The "packaging" of the process ensured that there would be no omissions or mistakes. 7. There is on-going support included. We were completely satisfied with the process. All our questions, including very detailed and sometimes redundant ones, were answered. The resulting product was a secure binder containing all our documents. The entire process was very convenient and we especially appreciated the notary coming to our house to notarize the documents. As clients we felt we were treated well and there was no sense of rush or cutting corners. The price seemed reasonable for what we received and the amount of work that was done. We have confidence that when these documents are needed by our children they will be complete, orderly and accessible.

Edmund and Fae are the best. Edmund and his team were extremely nice and very professional at all times. Working with them was such a great and easy experience. Just thinking about the will and trust process was very scary, but Edmund made the entire process go smoothly and it felt effortlessly on my part, which I really appreciated. He definitely understood my situation and what my end goal was. Everything was explained in great detail from start to finish. I'm glad I stopped procrastinating and went with Edmund.
