Rick Gazipura was an excellent and patient attorney for my daughter. He represented her attentively and never missed a court date. He knew how the local judicial system worked in Santa Cruz and patiently explained every step of the process. Rick also listened to her as a client and did not short change any important conversations. She never had been in trouble before or after. His legal fees were fair and worth every penny.

Rick is the best attorney ever! A year ago he went to court for me to get some cases expunged. He fought for me even with the D.A. Trying to fight against it. He didn’t charge me a crazy amount either. I can’t thank him enough for what he did for me. He’s an honest attorney and a very nice guy. If you’re thinking about hiring him don’t think twice. Rick gave me excellent advice and took a ton of the stress out of my situation. Having worked in the courts for years, he knew the system in Santa Cruz quite well and played my hand perfectly. I was able to avoid jail time after being told by other attorneys that incarceration was inevitable. I was willing to take direction from Rick and let him fight for me. I'm very pleased with the results.

The case must have gone on for 10 days. It was the first time in my life I had a full-blown jury trial. Rick did his homework every night. He came up with angles I couldn't even imagine to get the case dismissed. I had never seen or known an attorney to have this much tenacity. When he advised me to refrain from testifying at all, it was a hard decision for me. I took Rick's advice and the jury deliberated just 10 minutes. NOT GUILTY on both charges!
