I was drowning in my bills and went to see Mr. Trahan upon the advice of a friend. When I learned of his experience in the field of bankruptcy I hired him to take my case. I was given clear instructions and a binder to help me organize my paperwork. I could not be more happy now that my case has discharged and the ease with which it was carried out by my attorney. He has provided me with piece of mind and was always friendly and helpful when I needed help with something. I very highly recommend his services.

I was very impressed with how quick Mr. Trahan always got back to me with answers to any question I had. He was very kind, polite & honest in his responses.

I had an extremely messy case and was on the edge of losing my home and everything I had worked for. My wages were being garnished when I went to see Ivan Trahan. His wife filled out an exemption claim form for me and mailed it before I even left their office. They didn't charge me anything for that. I'm a single mother of two so I really appreciated that. Mr. Trahan explained everything to me in such an easy to understand way and now we have a plan for solving all of my money problems. For the time being, he stopped the garnishment. I really appreciated that also. Now we are going to sue my creditors for calling me on my cell phone and that's not going to cost me anything either. I never would have knows I could do either of these two things had I not gone to see Mr. Trahan. I'd recommend him to anyone who is looking for a fair and competent attorney.

Thank goodness for Ivan and Nancy! I imagine it is difficult for someone in Ivan's line of work, always interacting with clients during such a difficult, depressing and embarrassing time in life. At least that is how I have felt for the past year, but Ivan has helped me through all of it, and I am now on the other side, putting life back together. Ivan makes you feel welcome and understood,not intimidated like some lawyers. I had a complicated case and Ivan just dealt with it 1 issue at a time and my giant mess was put together simply for our trustee to easily manage. Mr. Trahan and his wife Nancy have put our lives back to normal after filing for our Chapter 7 bankruptcy. We were able to get a fresh start Thanks to there expertise. We were referred to them from a friend, that talked very highly from there bankruptcy experience. With the knowledge Ivan and Nancy provided, it made us feel very comfortable. They went way out of there way to assure us that ( what we thought) was the impossible could be done. Our lives have changed for the better because of them. Nancy even went out of her way to bring us dinner after my husband got out of the hospital from surgery!! They are the best! We would highly recommend them.

I felt comfortable with Ivan and his wife, Nancy, the minute i met them. Their experience and knowledge in the field of bankruptcy is extensive. I had a kind of a complicated matter and they had ideas I hadn't heard from the other attorneys I had talked to while i was shopping around. With their help, I was able to get a fresh start by filing a Chapter 7. Two other attorneys had told me that I didn't pass the means test and didn't qualify for Chapter 7. They were wrong. If I had taken their advice, I would have had to pay my creditors and I'd have about four and a half years of Chapter 13 payments ahead of me. I recommend this law firm whenever i get a chance because i know they will take good care of anyone I refer.

My house is worth half of what it used to be and I had a high interest rate second mortgage that I don't have to pay now, thanks to Ivan. He told me he could get rid of the 2nd mortgage through Chapter 13 and that's exactly what he did. I really think it made a difference going to an attorney with so much experience. Ivan spent a lot of time evaluating my case (for free) before I hired him and I felt like he really cared about what happened to me. His wife works with him and I feel like she is more like a friend than anything else. Very funny and encouraging. His staff was helpful and courteous. I don't usually post reviews, but my life has changed so much because of everything they did for me, I decided to share my story.

Ivan is so calm and so experienced and knowledgeable that you immediately feel comfortable placing your financial problems in his hands, which is exactly what my husband and I did when we filed bankruptcy. We liked his staff and his wife, Nancy, was so helpful. She was always available on her cell phone and I don't think a lot of law offices do that. We got rid of our debt and we can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel! My husband and I both give this law firm the thumbs up!!!
