If I could give them a 0 i would because they don't even deserve a 1. Absolutely terrible service even worst communication and over all lost us at least $1000 because they refused to wrap the case up when we wanted. It dragged on for over 2 years and they claimed it was our fault even though we had proof they just weren't even working on our case! Find someone anyone but this group to use.

I am very happy with Mark Hancock’s counsel and advice. During my appeal process, he was very prompt in returning my calls, emails, and answering all of my questions. He wrote an extremely detailed and excellent appeal. He was very thorough in obtaining and reviewing my records, concentrating on the significant complaints and developing information about them, obtaining my medication list and exploring the side effects. He worked very hard with my many doctors to have forms and reports completed by them, which proved to be most helpful. He explained and convinced me of the importance of getting a vocational opinion and the importance of applying for social security disability benefits. I believe all of these things proved to be most useful in getting my appeal granted. If a need ever arises, I will not hesitate to call on Mr. Hancock again

Although I am an attorney, I do not specialize in handling disability insurance disputes, so my wife and I sought Mark's assistance in resolving a long-pending claim on behalf of my wife. Within a few months of Mark's involvement, we were successful without having to engage in full-blown (and expensive) litigation. Mark demonstrated expertise in this practice area, guided my wife through the process and communicated effectively with the insurance company on our behalf. Thanks to Mark's work, we achieved our goal without substantial costs.

One of the most difficult times in my life was when I had to stop working due to a disability based on a long-term illness. Since my employer offered disability insurance, I thought that one thing I would not have to worry about while I was dealing with my medical issues was an income. I was naïve about disability insurance because I had never had to deal with it before. I had to sign paperwork allowing the company virtually unlimited access to my private information and provided them with everything that they asked for because I was threatened with my benefits being cut off if I did not comply. Little did I know that everything I provided to the company would one day be used against me to eventually deny my claim. The truth is that disability insurance companies who offer insurance under ERISA have virtually no incentive to continue to pay a claim because there is virtually no financial penalty for them to do so even when there is substantial medical evidence of disability as there was in my case. The insurance companies deny claims because most people do not have the financial resources to fight them.
I had some hints that the insurance company was going to be difficult so I hired Mark Hancock to provide me with advice; however, I felt that I could handle the insurance company on my own because I had misplaced faith that the system would work because I have a legitimate disability. I had no idea that they would do things like hire a private investigator to follow me while never paying for a doctor to actually examine me. When the insurance company eventually denied my claim I hired Mark Hancock to handle my appeal. The appeal was expensive because I had a massive quantity of medical records and many doctors were involved in my care. Mr. Hancock also had to deal with the information that I voluntarily provided the company because I felt that I had to and a legal sized file box full of information that the insurance company compiled on me. Mr. Hancock knew what was necessary to win my case, things that I never could have done on my own, including hiring a disability analyst to counter the insurance company’s “experts” and obtaining statements from my doctors in the proper format. As I mentioned before, the appeal was expensive but Mr. Hancock fought hard to win my appeal. My advice to anyone dealing with a claim under a disability insurance policy is to hire a lawyer and to hire one early on in the process. The way the company treated my case after I hired Mr. Hancock was much different than before I had legal representation. You will save time, aggravation and money by hiring a lawyer before you think you have a problem with your insurance company. You will also avoid making statements that the insurance company will try to twist into evidence that you are not disabled. Finally, you will be able to concentrate on your health rather than dealing with the unreasonable demands of your insurance company. Mr. Hancock was the reason my benefits were restored and I recommend him without reservation.
I am posting this anonymously because my experience with this insurance company has made me closely guard all aspects of my personal life not because I have any reservations about Mr. Hancock or the services that he continues to provide on my behalf.

Our church first spoke with Mark Hancock two years ago, since then he has helped us with our real estate needs from a dispute with our landlord to drawing up a sublease for us. Mark has always been courteous, knowledgeable and on top of things. We have been so grateful to have the peace of mind that he is taking care of everything!

First of all I want to thank Mr. Hancock and his staff for assisting myself and my family through a very difficult time. The last thing you want to do when you are not feeling well is to deal with an insurance company that has terminated your benefits. The Law Offices Of Mark E. Hancock was able to get the insurance company to reverse their decision and reinstate my benefits. Mr Hancock successfully obtained and received my LTD plan and medical records, highlighted all my conditions, restrictions and limitations, interfaced with my doctors and got information from them helpful to my case, lined up a vocational expert, pointed out inconsistencies and errors in the insurance company's position, helped me handle their request to have a doctor examine me, and won an appeal for me. I am an executive/high level manager for a national public company and I appreciate the high level of professional service that Mark and his company have provided and continues to provide throughout this very difficult process.

I would like to express my appreciation to Mr. Hancock a second time. I am a repeat customer. I needed an immediate hearing to beat an Estate sale, enforcing a lien. A debt of 13 years. We had positive results. All motions were granted. The entire case was handled professionally, confidently, and I was impressed. We obtained a settlement in a very short time being that the property was available on the market. I appreciate that Mr. Hancock always kept me updated with information. I never had to be waiting endlessly for return calls. He always kept me in touch, and informed through litigation. I was a repeat customer. Highly recommended...
