I can’t say enough good things about Mindy. I was referred to her by a friend who had used her and recommended her. After my DUI arrest I was ashamed by what I had done, and scared of what I was facing. Mindy was kind and compassionate, and took the time to fully explain everything. She helped take a lot of the emotion out of the situation. My case was a complicated one and Mindy was my advocate every step of the way. She promptly returned phone calls and emails, and answered all of my questions. I truly believe my case had the best possible outcome due to having her as my attorney. I was so pleased with her performance that I hired her again (after an appropriate amount of time) to assist with terminating my probation early and later expunging my record.

I did not expect any favorable outcome in my case due to the severity and evidence that I believed was against me. Best attorney in ventura County. She help me with my custody case, and advocated for our child and his needs. She open the door to a brighter beginning. My nightmare started in a rental car on my way from LAX up through Ventura where I got pulled over and arrested for DUI. Not good. I blew a .20 and this was after I had been driving for an hour. I was in Cali for work, and am from New York, so I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. The next day after they released me from the absolute hellhole I was kept in (with 5 other inmates), I googled DWI lawyers Ventura and called the first person that popped up. Mindy called me immediately and started explaining everything to me. The good and the bad. I told her I didn't do well on the field sobriety test and started blaming it on what I perceived as unfairness of the test and she said "You blew a .20 dude, of course you did poorly on the test". Well...she got me credit for spending the night in the clink which satisfied the 4 days jail time, saved me $2,000 on crazy fees, got me only a 6 month online alcohol program (could have been a LOT worse), and got me "informal" probation. She brought me out of hell. I think most of all though is she's not some slip and fall type lawyer. She let me know I narrowly avoided some serious stuff, and that if I do it again there will be "dire" consequences. She's not just cranking out repeat offenders. Also, Melissa is the nicest, and most helpful Paralegal assistant you could possible ask for!

Mindy went above and beyond for my DUI case. It was my fourth DUI and she was able to reduce any jail time by 50% and also I’m able to keep my license and drive.
