Cynthia Gonzales and her staff are amazing. I was so grateful when we all came into the first meeting with my sister and father. She listened and gave us every bit of information needed for guardianship of my grandchildren and no question was considered not important. Cynthia and her assistant Gabbie were always so processional and answered questions before and after court hearings even when all was said and done they would call to make sure things were doing good. With such a confusing and ridiculous court system, you need support and knowledge how to navigate it. You could be doing all the “right” things and still not see “results” you’re seeking. Because ultimately you’ll always be leading with your heart and stuck in your own perspective. So the nightmare started and I was extremely concerned and lost in what to do in the process of an upcoming DUI conviction. The first hurdle it seemed was choosing an attorney and after researching came across Mindy McQueen. I am so thankful that I used Mindy's services - I met with Mindy within 48 hours of the incident and she really took the time to help me understand what the process would be and what to expect. Mindy has a solid understanding of the law and also what to expect during the court appearances. I listed to Mindy's advise and to be honest I got far less of a punishment than what I was expecting - Ventura County seems to be one of the toughest counties for DUI convictions. No jail time, no work release, no morgue, no MAD - just a fine, 30 day suspended license and DUI school. A pending conviction can put a lot of stress on people and possibly lead them to make incorrect decisions when options are being presented. I left the decision making to Mindy and took all of her recommendations and this error of judgment/mistake did not end up being the end of the world that I had pictured. I came to see Mindy for my case for a unique reason. A friend of mine had been in her building for some other reason, happened to go into Mindy's office because my friend needed a key for the building's bathroom, and Mindy was kind enough to lend her the bathroom key even though my friend wasn't a client or in the building to see Mindy. This occurred a few weeks before I was in need of a criminal attorney, and I was inspired by my friend's experience and Mindy's kindness. At my consultation she spent over an hour talking with me about my case. She was up front and very honest about the expectations I should have regarding the outcome of my case. She told me that she would fight for me and do all in her power to advocate on my behalf. After I hired her she remained in constant contact with me and eased my worries and concerns. She went to court twice on my behalf, I didn't even have to go. She communicated the results to me right away. The thing that is her greatest asset, in my opinion, is that she knows how to advocate for her clients. She stuck with it and put in extra time to convince the DA to evaluate the case based on her assessment of the circumstances. Other attorneys I have hired wouldn't have worked as hard as she did. I probably would not have gotten the same results Mindy got for me had I hired another. She knows how to talk well and communicate effectively. She put in countless hours in communicating and negotiating with the DA's office. During the entire time she helped me feel positive and helped me complete all that I was asked to do. In the end, Mindy got my case was dismissed. In general, I don't like attorneys and don't trust most to put my interests first. But with Mindy that is different. I saw her put my interests first and fight hard for my case. It has been my experience with this case that you won't be disappointed if you go see Mindy for your case even if the outcome isn't the same as mine. She is the kind of attorney everyone wished they had.

Mindy Mc Queen was very knowledgeable and professional . I hired her for a DMV hearing NOT involved with a DUI, but an accident. I am a senior citizen. I have never been involved with a DMV hearing so I was not only anxious but uninformed of the legal aspects. Mindy was very calming and assured me that my outcome would be positive.
