I want to give a shout out to Attorney Robert Baumann. This is the first time I ever had to use attorney for an administrative representation. He was able to help me expunged suspension as well as disciplinary action that were obviously retaliatory by my former agency. His representation also exposed many corruption and incompetence within agency's leadership. As the result I was able to keep a clean employment record, this wouldn't be possible without Mr. Baumann's dedication and competence. For men and women in uniform, Mr. Baumann is also an experienced Judge Advocate, you definitely need to give him a call if you were to deal with adverse action from the leadership. Mr. Baumann doesn't deserve 5 stars, he deserves 10.

Posting on behalf of my Uncle: I want to thank you for your able representation concerning my worker’s’ compensation claim. I know my case was convoluted because my illness arose while I was military leave from my law enforcement job. The case was settled with terms that seemed reasonable to me. Lastly, you guided me through the application process which enabled me to receive a disability retirement. I am a member of the CA Bar, but have been inactive for many years. Reading over these reviews has made me want to write my own. I got hurt on the job in early 2017 and was out originally workers comp however that quack Dr. said my injury wasn't work related but kept me out of work to follow up with my own Dr. (go figure) I got referred to Adams Ferrone & Ferrone by a union rep. Keep in mind although they have multiple lawyers, they still have busy case loads, there's other people out there (fellow Law Enforcement Family) going through the same things you are or worst. Anyways, I was assigned to Michael Bannon, who right from our 1st conversation said WC cases aren't quick, especially mine which was complexed due to WC denying my case and other factors. He was honest from the start about the different steps and lengths that they may take. Yes, when I would call to try and get an update I would have to leave messages and wait for reply's and it would be frustrating at times because you just want answers. But when ever there was any update, I was informed right away. Overall my case was settled and WC had to cover me in the end. I went about 10 months without pay but with out Michael Bannon's help I'd may have gone longer or never got back pay for it. You agree to a fee at the start and as for me, It never came out of my pocket, the fee was paid out from the settlement, which made it easy. WC is a long process, Adams Ferrone & Ferrone was with me the whole way, and still are to this day.

Not helpful

This law firm who represented me has refused to return calls and emails. I thought they were dealing in my best interest but they have let me down. The lawyers and their aides would not returnemails until the wording revealed that I was very upset. I have spoken to the lawyer assigned to me only three times in seven and a half years. The aide I last spoke to gave me incorrect information so I would sign off on the law suit and they would get paid off. I would only recommend this firm to someone I really didn't like so I could watch them ruin their life. I wish I had thought of looking at the reviews prior to keeping them so long, maybe someone else could have done the job much better. If you expect communication with your law firm choose another this one isn't it.

Use caution!! Especially if your police or fire. You may get one phone call originally at the beginning of your case promising big things, then you will never her from him! You may get a sarcastic email, for which the premise is how much he is put out by having to answer your question. You may get referred to his office assistant Mia. The receptionist will say Mia is not available and to leave a message. Don't be optimistic Mia will call you. I believe one time she called me back and was not happy. Prepare to be left in the dark at a very difficult time in your life. Incredibly unprofessional!! Police and Fire brothers please use caution!!
