I have had a number of occasions to interact with Bob (Robert) and found him to be very personable and genuine, which is refreshing and disarming. He is down to earth, and knowledgeable about every facet of your legal concerns, revolving around your work-related injuries. When I initially contacted the law firm, I met with Bob and established a good working relationship with him, and I felt comfortable calling and speaking directly with him when necessary. I can also say his staff is very capable and responsive to questions and concerns as well. Whenever there were changes, updates or any other information it was expeditiously communicated to me. The relationship and services rendered were excellent from the beginning to the end/settlement of my case(s). Jeff Swartz and Mitzi have been a breath of fresh air. After trying to deal with ‘Tristar’ on a claim and literally not getting a reply, I took the advise of a friend and went to talk to Jeff Swartz. With in days I had received a reply and was moving in the in the right direction. During the claim the were multiple billing issues and problems with calculating proper timelines....Mitzi takes care of business! I have over 30 years with the county and never thought I would need this kind of help, however now with the current system I wouldn’t want to go it alone.

I was one of the lucky ones..i was at work doing my job, shortly after i was punched in the face. i was in pain, depressed and was in fear of working with the inmates. They have made my worker's comp case easy to manage; since they handled everything I was able to focus on my recovery, which if you've ever been injured is huge. They both respond quickly with an abundance and practical Information. When there has been times I didn't understand something, which happens often because I don't know worker's comp laws, they took the time to make sure I understood what was needed of me or the steps they were going to take. Most of the time you communicate through Mitzi; don't be discouraged she is very knowledgeable and runs everything by Jeff. My Name is Richard Glassman. I am a retired peace officer that was brutally attacked by 8 inmates and sustained terrible injuries that changed my entire life. Everyone at my job knew the best lawyer to defend peace officers and fireman was Jeff Swartz . The biggest obstacle is that my Department CDCR is self insured for workers comp and even though I won the Medal of Valor for my actions and needed 9 operations they still fight you tooth and nail and try to refuse your deserved medical treatment. You actually feel after your assaulted that your department is against you and without a great attorney like Jeff Swartz you will not be receiving the great medical treatment and money to live on. Every time I receive something in the mail from workers comp the first thing I say to myself is " don't worry Jeff and Mitzi his great assistant will handle it and they always do. Mitzi is like family because when you call her to let her know what's wrong she is so concerned and talks to you even if its an hour explaining the way the workers comp system works at Jeff will handle it like he always has. I would rate the firm higher however the attorney I hired is a nice guy although I've never met him, but his assistant she maybe good at her job but, she has no idea on how to talk to people. She talks down to people instead of to them. She is unsympathetic and uncaring. UPDATE: My case is resolved, for me communication is important especially since you’re going through a lot of unknowns with the process however since I’m one of their many clients I personally felt I was lost and lot of my questions were not answered, but as of this review the issues are dealt with for now. So the rating has been revised.
