I was having some issues with my crazy landlord and David was able to give me some great insight and provide me with some great consultation that helped protect my rights as a tenant and helped me avoid getting in any legal trouble by unknowingly committing violations to my lease agreement. He listened to my complaints about the landlord and assured me he was on my side but that the only action we could take was from a legal standpoint and prepared a plan for me that would best mediate my situation and get me out of this ridiculous house hold run by an extremely irrational and neurotic landlord.

I had this Short legal counselling with David Sir and my case was a real mess. After have told him the whole scene which was pretty complex to understand at once and to really come up with real time solutions for it was genuinely tough to do it by my own. David Sir with his calm came up with answers and I hope my case goes in my favor. It was not only a professional guidance I received that day, but a personal motivation too. David was a great help. I was facing subtenant issues and I wanted to double check if my contract with them covered the issue. He answered all the questions patiently and I was relieved after the consultation.I visited him a second time and he promptly remembered the issue I was facing without having to describe it to him again. Mr. Payab is a real caring person who actually cares about us. We asked him if we should sue in small claims or full on in court and he suggested we do small claims because our lawyer fees would be really low - lawyers aren't allowed to represent people in small claims. He said the lawyer fees for a full lawsuit would be way more than the compensation we'd get. If this was another lawyer he'd probably try to convince us of filing a lawsuit because he'd make so much money, but not Mr. Payab. He also has been incredibly generous by answering quick questions after our consultations with him, which he did not charge us for. His priority is really looking after us and wanting the best outcome for us. A lot of lawyers are just looking to make a pretty penny so it's hard to trust them these days. Mr. Payab is also very centered, calm, comforting, and incredibly knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him 100% and we'll use his services again if we ever need a lawyer. We spoke to four different lawyers to get advice about a dispute. Mr. Payab had the qualities we were looking for: calm, rational, straightforward and clear communicator, and fair. It was "very" refreshing after the other three. I feel like we can rely on Mr. Payab to give us sound advice, keeping our best interest in mind. If we need legal advice in the future we will certainly call him.

I met him at USC for legal aid. He is really patient and helpful. He answered all my questions,and provide me referral. He is professional but also very approachable.

Mr. Payab has been assisting me with a landlord tenant dispute over a security deposit. With his help I have already recovered some of my deposit and it is likely that I will recover almost the full deposit after going to court. Mr Payab's warm and friendly demeanor helped me get motivated, and get prepared. He always takes time to answer my questions, even though I see him at a legal clinic where time is especially tight. Not having done this before, getting professional advice was useful. These meetings have also motivated me to read up on the law. Before, I did not realize that most legal statutes are available online. After reading the law I wrote up a short oral argument. Let's just say that I feel prepared for my small claims case.

He's given really good advice on all questions I've had, including topics of housing/leasing rules, website startups, making contracts and filing for trademarks.
