Honestly, I wouldnt use anyone else. My experience was as great as a terrible time in my life could have been. Ms. Marum gave brilliant guidance and offered solutions that I wouldnt have thought of otherwise. She was able to get to the bottom of what I truly wanted and needed for my young son and I. There were very delicate issues dealing with addiction, but Ms. Marum was able to navigate those issues well and provided support for the fact that I wanted to give my ex every opportunity to see our son, but wanted the security of making sure that relationship was a safe and healthy one. I honestly would recommend Ms. Marum to anyone navigating a difficult or complex divorce.

I can tell you for sure that my case was about as intensely complicated as it was an international divorce with a young child involved. Mark and his team burned the midnight oil to do all of the research and find absolute facts....and nothing but facts and case precendent. Mrs. West assisted me in a modification of custody and child support case. She is very knowledgeable with the law, she is patient and kind. She always answered every email promptly and always offered great advice. She was very up front with me in a respectful way and helped keep me grounded throughout this process. She kept me fully informed throughout my case, so as an anxious person, this is what I needed. I always knew what to expect throughout the process. She always listened to my concerns and never made me feel rushed. When I didn't understand something, she was great at explaining it so I did understand. She always made sure that I understood and was comfortable with every decision we made throughout this process. She never made me feel forced into do anything I wasn't comfortable with. Ms West has been my attorney since 2012, she has efficiently resolved cases against my very hostile ex and his constant parade of attorneys. My ex wife hit me with a ridiculous and totally unfounded demand for "past due" support. Her lawyer threatened me and filed endless demands with the courts for 2yrs (during wich time my parents were both ill and passed during.all this) my ex knew that my mother had all my paper work , and with her gone i was all but defenseless. I was in a very dark place emotionally and financially with no way out. Thank God a friend referred me to Olga , she literally showed me a light when i thought there were none. She was honest , supportive and kind. Above and beyond any lawyer i had ever met , or could imagine existed. She saved my life and ended my case fast and without unnecessary billed hours. I recently went through an otherwise very stressful divorce and court trial. I am a practicing physician and my ex a housewife for 17 years. I have three children. I was at a distinctly disadvantageous position to begin with. My divorce lasted for 2 years from the time of filling. My ex and her boyfriend hired 2 teams of very aggressive attorneys from Southern California and San Francisco making the case very complicated, over litigated and stressful. I felt I was helpless until I met Yvonne Seeley and her team of associates and assistants. With professionalism, super knowledge of California family law, and super experience as a trial lawyer, I was able to more than survive the ordeal, ending with a fair and satisfactory trial result, and having my interest maximally protected. Ms. Seeley's counsel in my marriage dissolution was invaluable. She helped me understand the dissolution case process, and helped me to manage my own expectations with respect to timing of case events. She's the consummate attorney in the sense that she's the strongest advocate for her clients. In family law cases where things can get muddied by a bit of emotion, she keeps things real and in perspective.
As a paralegal, I was able to prepare the bulk of paperwork myself, but without Ms. Seeley's keen eye to some details, and recommendations as to alternatives -- in specific related to division of property and spousal support, the case might still be pending judgment.
I was pleased to receive the desired outcome with the court in a reasonable amount of time. The courts might be a bit slow, but the team at Seeley & Madigan couldn't have been more responsive. Questions answered right away, and proposed solutions offered quickly.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Helen Yvonne Seeley and the team at Seeley & Madigan. If ever I need family law counsel again, Ms. Seeley would be the first attorney i'd contact.

Elizabeth handled my divorce with a high level of competency and professionalism. She was always on point and exhibited patience and understanding at all times when it came to helping me navigate the process, the emotions, and the upheaval inherent when a marriage, and consequently a family, breaks up. I recently went through my first divorce. I was very upset and lost. I could not find a lawyer available or one that would even answer the phone. After a full day of calls, at about 7:15pm I was so afraid and lost. Then Monica answered her phone and gave me some guidance. Monica set an appointment with me the next day. I almost got a little bit of sleep that night. I hired Monica to represent me. This divorce was one of the most difficult things I have been through in my life. Working with Linda was incredible. I was at such a vulnerable place in my separation, and Linda made this so much easier. Obviously, no one wants to get divorced, and I was particularly shocked and emotional throughout the process. The most remarkable quality Linda had was just making me feel validated. She listened to me, was comforting to me, gave realistic solutions, and treated me with such kindness and empathy. She would take the time to ask about my daughter, my friends, my job, just because she cared and genuinely wanted the best for me. I’ll never forget how touched that made me feel, and is something I would never expect of an attorney. But she was more than a lawyer to me - instead a guiding force. I found all of these characteristics and more in choosing and hiring Aimee Ashby Flanagan to handle my dissolution of marriage.
During our initial phone call, Aimee and I discussed the particulars of my marriage and as uncomfortable as it was for me to approach the conversation, Aimee's calm and comforting demeanor quickly settled my unsure nerves. Upon our first face to face meeting (during the Covid -19 pandemic), Aimee politely answered each of my many questions, took ample time discussing the divorce process and welcomed my feedback. Never was I rushed into signing an agreement or pressured to hurry the process. Her communication, whether by email, telephone or in person was always articulate and excellent and her response time throughout the duration of my case was immediate an on-point. Ms. Otieno is extremely knowledgeable and upfront . Listen to her ! and you will be successful. There where times when I was a little aggravated and even offended by her statements . I was referred to Lisa by a friend, and he couldn't say enough about her. She had mediated over his divorce, and he stated that he was very impressed by her knowledge and ability to bring a positive resolution to both parties in his case. We met Lisa at the Cameron County Courthouse. She was there representing another case and we were there trying to to navigate our way through child support and family court pro se, having traveled in from upstate Texas. Before we even had a chance to address our case before the judge, she met with the other parties to hers and listening to her was all it took to want to hire her. Lisa is a straight shooter. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She doesn't hesitate or walk around bad answers or behavior, and asks that everyone be held accountable for their actions. I immediately asked for her contact information and she began representing us that very afternoon. By the end of the evening, she had e-filed on our behalf and everything we'd been hoping to say or points we felt were important to make, she included. Her experience and flair were very evident in her initial filing. While our case is far from over, our experience so far has been a cake walk with her. We aren't just a number to her, she recognizes and responds to us because she knows our plight. She doesn't ask us the same questions over and over because she remembers. She doesn't take for granted how near and dear this proceeding is for us, and she doesn't treat us poorly when we ask too many questions or send in page long rantings. She understands the importance this carries for our family and our future. Yesterday was our third court date (in Texas), and neither my Husband nor I worried. We didn't stress about being there for this issue for the first time EVER because we are so confident in our attorney and her firm. I know Lisa will see us through. I know she will continue asking the questions that deserve answers and making the other party accountable to the years of bad decisions and dishonesty. The motions she's filed, our communication since day 1, and dealing directly with her as a person tell me that we will finally have a chance to be a part of the second half of our child's life--the first half having been robbed. I happened to be at the Cameron County courthouse ready to speak on my own behalf regarding a child support/custody matter when my wife spoke to Lisa regarding my situation. Within a matter of hours she was by my side fighting on my behalf. I am an active duty Soldier who has been stationed in various states dealing with custody issues with an ex wife while deploying overseas never able to get any real say in the matter of my involvement in my son's life. Lisa took a situation that we thought was hopeless or at best an uphill battle and brought instantaneous light at the end of our legal tunnel. Charles Christopher Adkins is the best attorney I have ever worked with, hands down . I recently recieved a traffic citation. The citation I recieved could have caused my license to be revoked and a bunch of costly fines. Well, the Adkins Law Firm handled everything for me professionally and expediently.. Nancy Grace and her paralegal Erin were excellent handling my QDRO after my previous attorney messed things up. Their communications and work were clear and efficient. I hired Elspeth Crawford in March of 2015 for a hit and run and a DUI. I consulted with Elspeth the following Monday of my arrest. I hired her for a fair price. My wife and I were named in a lawsuit due to a breach of contract. Our roofing contractor didn't pay his roofing materials supplier, so we were being sued by the supplier also. I hired Elspeth to handle this legal matter. She was very courteous and professional and assured me that this lien on our house and lawsuit would be taken care of.
I gave her copies of the insurance checks cashed by the contractor and also checks cashed by him for our portion of the contract such as insurance deductible. With in a few weeks, Elspeth had this matter cleared up and the opposing attorney removed the lien from our house.

Attorney Lemm is like a Venus Fly trap. Pretty flower, but if you land in her trap she will chew you up and spit you out. I retained attorney Lemm a little over a year ago. I was going through a contested divorce and custody battle. I tried playing nice with my ex and attorney Lemm advised me not to, but I didn’t, I didn’t listen. After learning my lesson the hard way, I was drained and exhausted. Attorney Lemm said to me, are you going to let me do my job now? My ex was keeping the kids away from me, threatening my job and livelihood. She said we are going to “TAKE HER DOWN”! Our day in court came. I was blown away by her spark, attitude, and her ability to own the one person who made my life Hell for so long. A person who lied, manipulated, and was pure Evil in my life was getting owned on the stand. It was so bad that I couldn’t look up, because I was grinning so hard. My time, patience, and frustration was all being wiped away with pure satisfaction as she destroyed the person who tried to destroy me. In the end she got me every thing I wanted and needed, but to put the icing on the cake she had all my Court and legal fees paid for that day. I had no idea what she was aiming for, but I’ll say this I’m happy she was representing me. Cause I couldn’t imagine being drilled by her. It was so bad for my ex, that the following week I received an email that my ex wanted to move into finalizing the divorce. It was a win for my whole family. Attorney Lemm and her team are rockstars. I met Matt and his para Benjamin when my previous lawyer had abruptly left his firm in the middle of my custody case.
Matt quickly got up to speed, and was everything I had hoped for and more. Matt always kept the children’s best interest in absolute focus and never let me astray.
