I worked as a legal assistant for this firm for a year and am also an estate planning client. Three things stand out about Kathryn and her practice that I think are worth noting: 1. Her knowledge of the field. Especially when it comes to Medicaid planning and the VA system. I often fielded calls from other attorneys and financial planners seeking her advice because she is so highly regarded as an expert in these areas. I also saw her seek advice from other experts in the field when she needed it. Kathryn is very well educated and credentialed and becoming more so all the time. 2. Her compassion. Kathryn works in Elder and Disability Law because she cares deeply about her clients and their well being. She makes sure that every client understands the documents that they are signing, even if this means speaking at length directly in the ear of someone who is hearing and visually impaired, or holding extra meetings to ensure that everyone understands their plan. I have long been impressed by her ability to translate her vast knowledge into understandable content, and her patience with families whose loved ones are experiencing reduced capacity. 3. Her ethics. As a Social Worker, it was very important to me to work in an environment that holds high ethical standards. On this, Kathryn does not waiver. She does the right thing by her clients, even if it costs her time and convenience. You can trust that she is giving you her best work, and that she's invested serious time into the plan that she is making for YOU. No two estate plans are ever the same in her office; Kathryn does the right thing by her clients.

Karen is very knowledgeable and down to earth. She is not stuffy or pretentious like other attorneys we have used for our business. I would highly recommend her, she has a casual office setting that is welcoming. We found her services to be very fairly priced and she is efficient and quick in executing the documents you need. I also had a bad taste left in my mouth as I went to meet & hire Karen. The way she treated her secretary & myself was quite disturbing! My choice would be to leave 0 stars but that was not allowed! Karen really needs a class on compassion!

They made my experience very pleasant, they explained everything clearly and throughly and during the process they Communicated daily with E mail to make sure everything was being taken of. I was pleased with the experience and would definitely recommend and use them again.

I have worked professionally and personally with Karen and her staff for over 15 years and I can not say enough good things about all of them. Karen's approach is very rare in the legal profession, in that she truly explores a client's goals, objectives and needs when designing a plan. She then creates a completely customized estate plan, rather than simply changing names and dates in a boiler-plate document - as most attorneys I've encountered tend to do. Further than this, though, Karen and her excellent staff do not stop at the customized documents. An estate plan is absolutely worth nothing more than the paper it is printed on if it is not properly funded and maintained. That's where the Law Offices of Karen Brady, PC really shine in my opinion. They work tirelessly to identify and properly title all estate assets so that they will be included in the client's wishes at time of incapacity or death. The vast majority of attorneys who claim to be "estate planners" simply send their clients out the door with a bundle of papers that do nothing because they haven't put any of the client's assets into the trusts via proper titling and beneficiary designations. That never happens with Karen and her staff. I've referred all of my clients with estate planning needs to Karen over the past 15+ years, and have had her handle my own and my family-members' estate plans, as well. I highly recommend Karen Brady as your estate planning attorney.

Ms Schlieben did a very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough job as my attorney in my divorce case. Ms. Schlieben took the time to explain the law to me in person, over the phone, email, or text regarding my case when ever I had questions in order for me to understand why things were the way they were. I would recommend Ms. Schlieben to anyone looking for an attorney regarding divorce.

She's straight and to the point. She's hard core and knows her stuff!! She knows the laws very well and what the judge deems evidence and not. She doesn't waste time and simply got the job done. My child is free from emotional abuse now. I would never want to be on the other side of this lawyer during cross examination. She's the real deal!!
