Jason is an incredibly caring, compassionate and passionate advocate for his clients. He has won numerous difficult cases. He fights tirelessly for his clients and he does his best to advise his clients so that they can make the best decision for their cases.

In the fee agreement it says, "zealously represent", and that is what he did! Mr. Savela is professional and sincere. Though representation is not in-expensive, Mr. Savela did not nickel and dime me to death, it was well worth the investment. I also appreciate his attitude of equanimity, which centered me so I could understand everything with more clarity. He took the time to educated me about the circumstances of my case, hear what I had to say, and inform me of my rights regrading the law AND his legal obligations to me. Mr. Savela has a sense of justice and feels personally satisfied when it is accomplished for his client. I truly trusted him to help me and that was what I was looking for. After agreeing to my plea deal in NY I was supposed to have a conditional license for 1 year, then receive my full license. After gov. Cumo decided to "change dmv regulations" I was told no license, and I could resubmit my paperwork in 2019. I moved to Colorado, had not driven for over a year, and he was able to get me back on the road. After a couple of paper hold ups, and some more phone calls by Jason (absolute hero), I was able to start building a life.

Mr. Savela was referred to me by an out of state family member, who is also a DUI lawyer. I could not have been happier with my choice to retain Jason as my attorney who would represent me through my DUI case. Not only was he very professional and helpful even before retaining him (offered substantial pre-trial information and tips), he showed a sincere interest in my case and its 'quirky' nature. He was able to handle all court proceedings and meetings without the need for me to even be present. He was even able to get the DA to recognize that the charges filed against me and the arrest were unsubstantiated. This resulted in my case being dismissed. While other attorneys I spoke with in an attempt to get a "bargain" gave me (seemingly unfounded) promises and purported determinations/outcomes, Jason was reasonably optimistic about my case but realistic and rightfully cautious to come to any conclusions. One other attorney I had met with, despite the unusual nature of my case, said I would absolutely be convicted and advised that I start classes and service before even being arraigned. Jason, on the other hand, informed me that it most likely would have little to no effect on my outcome and would be a waste of time and resources. There are plenty of "cheaper" attorneys out there that you could choose. However, at least with Jason Savela, you will get what you pay for. I would recommend Jason to anyone. When I was searching for a lawyer I wanted the big man at the firm representing me. I called two separate firms and was instead handed off to underlings who quoted me ridiculous prices without even being able to tell me who would actually represent me. When I contacted Jason I was immediately put at ease, he runs the show at his firm and you deal with him directly. I was charged with assault - a possible felony charge facing 1-5 years in prison. The end result: A misdemeanor charge (deferred) that will be dismissed after one year of successful probation. Jason helped keep my stress low during this trying time. He treats you more like a friend than a client. Lastly, he is very honest. He sent detailed billing statements that showed the exact amount of time he spent on elements of my defense. If he spent ten minutes making a phone call to the DA, you get billed for ten minutes (not rounded up to a half hour/hour etc) You should call him if you are in need, I'm glad I did.

Jason Savela's professional services was a huge relief for me and dealing with all the different charges that I had been charged with. I was out of state for the whole affair and even though it was probably a really huge pain for him, he stuck with it. He was always on top of things and kept me informed. He gave me a reasonable price and explained things that I didn't understand. Many of my charges were dropped because of his ability to work with the DA and the judge.
