I have used Howard's firm twice for tax issues related to my daughter, who lives overseas. Both times his firm was able to resolve my issues promptly and professionally. Even the IRS was not sure what to do with her situation, but Howard's team figured it out! Their professionalism and quick response time is above board. I would recommend this firm without any hesitation.

Howard and his team have been amazing to work with. They’re always very responsive and super knowledgable about what they’re doing. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Howard Bernstein and his staff. I had a difficult tax issue relating to healthcare which I was extremely concerned about when I initially met with Howard. What stood out to me while working with Howard, Julie, and Cristine, was the personal touch that you all extended to me during the course of my trial, I know it’s another case and job but it is also my life. Excellent work! Julie Lang! She came in at the last moment to save my case after many disagreed disputes that were involved in my case and was awaiting approval, she worked with me in all possible ways to make it as convenient for me as possible! The best lawyer in Colorado and I would definitely recommend this amazing person to anyone who has any sort of issue with the income that we as disabled people deserve! I would also like to throw out there that I never got to meet her in person but I would be honored to do that one day and give big thanks to her in person!!! I had an absolutely amazing experience with this firm and my attorney Julie Lang. Julie was great, she was able to get the wheels turning that had been stalled because of the pandemic. She worked closely with the caseworker assigned to my case. She kept in close contact with both the caseworker and me. And she was even able to get things finalized without me having to make a long trip for an in person court appearance. I would highly recommend Julie and this firm. They did a wonderful job for me.

Don't waste your time and find another reliable law firm. It is just temporization process here.

I have sent them 5 emails over the past few months. I never get a reply from them. I finally was able to reach them on the phone, they (Alan Hester) said they're just too busy right now to reply to emails. ... Take that for what you will. They were able to get me in for a consultation, charge me $320 for an hour of their time, then they never responded to me again. I'm not quite sure what I did wrong? If you're too busy to reply to emails, perhaps just put an auto-reply up?

This guy is a joke. I hired him to help me with getting innocent spouse relief from the IRS and the only (partial) relief I got was for one of the years on information I provided the IRS prior to hiring him. He did not get me any relief for the other year he was hired for. Additionally, I hired him to do my taxes that year and about one week before taxes were due, he asked me to provide the previous years return since I didn’t feel he was taking enough deductions so he wanted to see what I had taken before. I had recently moved and wasn’t sure exactly where they were nor did I have time to find them immediately so when I told him that, he told me we weren’t a good fit and said he would not do my taxes, however he still charged me nearly $400 for the incomplete taxes and I ended up having to do them myself last minute in order to get them in on time.
