"These rates are subject to change without notice," and they certainly do when you terminate this office and receive your last bill. I was charged $37.50 for the opening of an envelope! If you do decide to hire this firm be sure everything that is promised to you is in writing, in the contract, no matter how small and read every word on that contract, their word means nothing!! Also be sure that your "money tree" is in full bloom, you will need it! They charged me $3,700.00 for two letters and a one (1) hour meeting and to date nothing is resolved. This is for a 1 year audit for a $6,500.00 tax amount. Save your money to pay what you will owe the IRS. I also received a really nasty letter from their office manager which I will be posting on social media because I cancelled my case with them because my money tree was becoming bare. Very unprofessional!! Another important item, make sure that you have in your contract that at the time of dismissal that any and all work product and paperwork be turned over to you! They are withholding my file stating they don't have to give me any of the work product or notes on my case! I also have a letter from the mattress king that their is no work product on my case, so what did I pay for? Is this ethical, moral; this speaks volumes for how this attorney practices! It is also important to note that Mr. Bernstein charges a 10 minute consult per case in his office per week, yet has nothing to show for this to the client. Last but not least, it is important to note, their contract states that if you have an issue with this office you will go to mediation with a bunch of other lawyers making the decision about your case. Think about that!
