Mr. Lancaster consistently adhered to ethical principles that reflected the highest personal standards and individual behavior. He effectively communicated my options and displayed an unwavering sense of commitment making me feel that I had top priority. I was hit with a slew of nightmare charges after crashing my car, including DUI. I was disoriented from the crash and the wicked concussion I sustained during it, but I wasn't intoxicated, so I opted to take a blood test after a police officer finally came. The officer was incompetent, and to my surprise, came up with charge after charge, but none of them were true and I was in shock, literally, and disbelief. Because of the charges, I was put in jail instead of in a hospital and left to suffer overnight with no one in my family knowing where I was and without medical attention for my injuries except for ointment for the gash on my stomach the next morning. When I was finally released, I called multiple DUI lawyers in Boulder, and none were enthused about my case, despite me passionately explaining that I was innocent and needed aggressive representation. I'm a full-time student, planning for graduate school, so I could not afford for these accusations to throw my life off track and have serious consequences that could affect my life and career forever. I plead guilty to reckless driving, which was the best option that I could have hoped for given the situation, and since Barry explained to the judge that I had suffered and made life changes to avoid anything like this happening again, the judge gave me the minimum fine and consequence. Barry made my life easier, saved my future, has become a good friend, gave me a fair price, and was extremely professional, capable, and thorough with my case. I would not recommend another lawyer to handle anyone's case in Boulder or on the Front Range.

I was pulled over for speeding and very questionably brought in for a breathalizer after roadside tests, resulting in a charge of DWAI. I did NOT want a criminal charge on my record and believed that there were many issues with how I was arrested and charged. However, my options were extremely limited. Barry was an absolute life saver. Even when the DA made it absolutely clear over many months that they would not budge on my case and planned to take me to trial, Barry stood his ground.
