I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Michael McGonegal and his firm. I retained them late in my case. Despite the odds, Michael worked very hard to get every important detail from the beginning of the case. He seemed to be as passionate about my case as I was, in fact I know he was. His knowledge and quick work of filing Motions emailing the appropriate people etc. brought me up to speed. I felt very confident moving forward with Michael as my attorney. His skills in the Courtroom at the hearing were impressive to say the least. Michael McGonegal is SMART, SHARP, AND PROFESSIONAL. The case is ending, and Michael has withdrawn at my request, however, he continues to communicate with me until the conclusion. In working with Michael McGonegal, I found him not only to be an excellent attorney but an excellent person. He was not only my lawyer but at times was my therapist, my advocate, my mentor, and he was always there for me and continues to be to this day.

There are a lot of places who promise to get the job done and all they do is take your money. Reliance Tax Group works hard, sympathizes with your situation and takes care of your needs. Having very little time to prepare, he got right to work and had everything ready to go the next morning. By the time my divorce had finalized months later, Michael had essentially managed my case single-handedly, keeping me in the loop every step of the way. His approach was assertive, persistent, and strategic, which is everything you could ask for in a divorce attorney. Spoke with Attorney Lenny. He was rude and condescending. Not only was he not interested in helping me with my situation - he seemed amused that I didn’t know what I was doing.

I did not file my taxes for several years and owed the IRS thousands in taxes. I called Reliance Tax Group after my tax firm got my returns in order. Start to finish ; the easiest process I've ever had. Covid really did not help this get resolved quickly but Jason and Elizabeth were always there to answer questions and help me through the process. What a great decision it was to go with Reliance Tax Group! I had a tricky tax situation since going through a divorce, moving from another state, and trying to figure out some covid rules, so I needed some tax advice and help. Reliance Tax Group was referred to me and they helped me to get everything squared away. They helped me with some tax fees that I had but wasn't aware of, and helped get me on a payment plan so I didn't have the stress of worrying about the IRS. I hired Reliance Tax Group to help with over $32,000 I owed to the Mass DOR and wanted to get it waived as most were penalties and interest. They built a case and I got all $32,000 waived. Elizabeth and Jason are the best in the industry. I highly recommend this company

We were very concerned as we had not received any correspondence from the IRS for both the 2020, 2021 returns...Until we received a notice to say we owed an 11K penalty for our 2020 taxes. "What a stressor!" We were told to contact Reliance Tax Group who are very knowledgeable and our best bet to help our situation. I called Jason a.s.a.p. and wanted to schedule a meet-up; But after hearing our story he assured me they could help us and we could do much of this over the phone and via a secure portal. Both Jason and Elizabeth were very informative and supportive, accessible and encouraging with all steps of the "take action process" to get us cleared of the huge penalty, and correct/amend two years tax returns within the prescribed deadlines. [We are in the sent amends for resolution stage..And waiting for the final IRS o.k.] However I can't express our gratitude we are so relieved close to conclusion. I would recommend Reliance Tax Group to all who are in an IRS pickle and unsure what to do next.

It was great working with Michael on my divorce. He kept me up to date on all the paperwork that I needed to do and followed up on anything I didn't get back to him on. Overall it was a much lower stress ordeal due to his help.
