CNL are the Best! Erika, Abby, and everyone else I interacted with were professional, kind, and above all straightforward about the process and what to expect. Charles Gibson is able to combine two qualities I’ve discovered are key to being a true counselor: Advocacy with Empathy Advocacy in having an exceptionally detailed knowledge and recall of the law as it applies to your situation. That includes the exceptions, tendencies, trends and risks. And he’s not a stranger to a courtroom. Empathy in understanding your goals in your world. Most importantly, how a given strategy has consequences, both intended and otherwise, both now and in the future. The stuff you hadn’t thought through yet. And that, my dear reader, is what I learned a counselor needs to be: A superlative fighter in your corner, but with an eye towards your future self and situation.
