The lawyers in training that answer the phone calls are extremely rude short and unprofessional. I was going through the financial check list with the guy on the phone when the disease MS came up, he seemed intrigued to hear this information because apparently his sister also has MS.. I listened to his story and I thought we were “clicking” so I started to add my experiences to the conversation and he abruptly cut me off and said “meh I don’t have time for “story time” “ and went back to Robot mode... he’s fortunate to have not seen my face turn red!!

I have never filed bankruptcy before and I had some serious debt issues that needed to be resolved. The entire group worked quickly and efficiently to file my bankruptcy and to put me at ease during the process. At the Creditor's Meeting my attorney, Robert Salter, thoroughly explained the process and again put me at ease so that I could go through the meeting without anxiety. This group of people have shown outstanding client skills all across the board. Thanks to Jennifer Metzger, Drew McCallum, and Robert Salter for making one of the most difficult times in my life as easy as possible. I highly recommend this organization for any of your bankruptcy needs.

I spoke to Sam who offered me realistic and down-to-earth advice. This is the first time in dealing with my debt that I have not been made to feel like a second class citizen. No pressure and honest advice. This give lawyers and this firm a positive reputation. I highly recommend Allstate to anyone looking into debt relief.

They spent a good 20 minutes of their own time to tell me that my debt problems is too small to go Bankruptcy after going thru everything over the phone. They also warned me of others that may go ahead with it because they are only looking for their fees. I thought that was really great of them to give me free advice like this. Never visited them but I had this sense right away that they can be trusted.

Mr. Salter helped us file for bankruptcy. We had a house that we were trying to keep. It proved to be difficult because the value of our home was higher than the allowed exemption. Mr. Salter worked with us and the Trustee to save our house. We couldn't be happier.

Mr. Salter along with his junior attorney Mr. Eric Herr while in the firm of Harkness & Salter LLC listed themselves as a"" general practice attorney" with Hyatt Legal and through them I was referred to Eric Herr for a personal injury case. He took my statement, had multiple conversations with us, contacted the insurance company, all without ever sending us a fee agreement to sign and then changed jobs, left us high and dry, referring back to Harkness & Salter. Mr. Salter agreed to talk to the insurance company to try settle the claim and then stopped communicating with me. I am here with my husband who is working in Mongolia. He let the clock run out on my personal injury claim then at the last minute without counseling us about which court or liability limit we should file for, simply gave us a choice, and of course, not knowing, we made the wrong choice of liability limit, a limit that wouldn't' even have covered the attorney fees but he didn't tell us that he filed an extension hours before the deadline and told us to get another attorney. We consulted another attorney, this time a personal injury attorney who told us the liability limit "we agreed to" was not adequate and refused to take our case. So, now 12 times zones away I have until the 17th of Feb. to file a subpoena, with no attorney and a statute of limitations expiring 25 Feb. All because Eric lead us to believe he was able to handle a personal injury claim and that he was representing us then dropped us and disappeared without telling us that is what he was doing or telling us we should get a personal injury attorney. We have had to wake up at 5am many, many times to try to call before the close of business hours to reach Robert Salter, only to be neglected and ignored. The same with e-mails. All Eric or Robert had to do was us tell us immediately that they were bankruptcy attorneys and advise us to get a proper personal injury attorney but they didn't. This has been going on since January of 2011. I have experienced a lot of anxiety and a sense of real helplessness and desperation from this distance trying to work with Eric Herr and then his referral back to Robert Salter, his former employer. Neither of them showed any concern or professionalism. They knew we were abroad, all they had to do was NOT lead us to believe they were going to do something for us but they didn't. Now it is too late.
