James Newby is by far the best defense attorney in Colorado Springs. Working with James and his office staff was nothing less than an amazing experience. He was able to get me the best possible outcome with my case--something I am confident would have been different had it been another attorney or me, by myself. His price is beyond reasonable for the level of professionalism and kindness he puts into his work and his clients. From the minute I heard James on the phone I knew by his calm, kind tone that I was in good hands. Not knowing at all how to navigate through the justice system, it was smooth and easy with James and his staffs help. Josh was with me from the moment I pretty much got myself into trouble, but stayed until beyond the end. Josh was available before and after times he should have been out of the office and anything I needed he not only worked hard on it (his work spoke for itself) but he seemed to make it his priority. He often checked in, and also cared about my well being and mental health through the whole experience. Josh was incredibly knowledgeable, and hands down will forever be someone I’m grateful to have had in my corner. God forbid I need help again, it’s no question who I’d ask. Because I want to be a lawyer, I interviewed James Newby who took the time to help me with my college class. He was extremely helpful in the interview and gave me all the information I needed to complete the assignment. He even gave me extra information about preparing for law school.

James Newby is incredibly thorough. He negotiates with the DA for the best deal that he can get, right down to the details. He does a great job explaining the options available to his client.
