I would highly recommend to anyone that is in the unfortunate predicament of fighting a DWI to seek out the expertise and experience of Mr.Medley and his staff! I had a highly complicated case that took over 18 months to resolve. Mr.Medley and his staff always kept the information flowing, and were forward and honest about what to expect, consequences and even the over all out look. It was also a relief to have one attorney to handle everything from acquiring a drivers license, fighting the charges and even getting it expunged from one's record. I hope never to have to go through this process ever again, or anyone. But, it does make it easier with Mr.Medley and his staff by your side the whole time.

Let's face it, no one is an angel. There will come a point in your life when you make such a huge mistake you'll need the help of someone to get you out. As for me, I needed legal counsel. I searched all over Houston for a lawyer that was at a reachable cost for me and that wasn't a very easy task. I ran into lawyers asking for over 10K for my situation. When I found Jim Medley, he and his staff made me feel very comfortable and assured me that they would do everything in their power to get a positive result in my case. Financially, it still wasn't cheap. But I'm sure the price varies by the type of case. Jim Medley offered to help me with the costs by allowing me to pay for his services on a payment plan. That was something that the 'other' lawyers were not willing to do for me. My case lasted for about a year, and the end result was what I had prayed for -- DISMISSED! I highly recommend Jim Medley, if you're in a tough situation. He and Brett Rycroft were excellent.

My experience with attorney Jim Medley was very professional and his staff was very friendly. His wonderful staff made sure my son and I felt comfortable at his office, and I was kept informed of my son's case. Mr. Medleys office is centrally located downtown Houston, close to the courthouse which makes it easy to see Mr. Medley and go directly to the courthouse. As father of a young man that got a DWI 5 days after graduating high school, I wanted to ensure he received the very best legal advice. I received a mailer from Jim Medley & Associates, P.C.; I remember how much more professional his mailer was compared to the other mailers I had received in the mail. I called some of the other law offices and they did not offer any professional advice or programs for my sons case. As he was under age at that time. Jim Medley's staff offered to assist us by offering options other than just going through the motions of a DWI. They brought to our attention that there was a program my son could participate in to have this removed from his record. None of the other law offices mentioned any other options.
