Erika Carter at Harris Law was a pleasure to work with and a great attorney. This was my first time dealing with a law firm and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Erika was kind, compassionate and professional. She helped me navigate the legal aspect of my divorce quickly and effectively. I recommend Erika to anyone looking for a Divorce or Family Law attorney!

After consultation and paying my retainer the staff at Harris Law led me to believe they were taking my case. I had a matter that needed a response within 14 days. For an entire week I was inundated with calls every few hours alternating between so and so can’t take your case because of their caseload or experience -and- we got so and so to take your case, but they can’t call til noon tomorrow…etc. Then finally a call, at 10 til 5 on Friday to tell me that they had no one who could take it. After freezing up $5,000 in my personal resources and leaving me no time to find a competent firm, I was left no option but to respond myself. I still have not received a refund. This firm is way more concerned with accepting your retainer than you personally.

Kady Tran and her team have been nothing short of exceptional in dealing with a very complicated and messy post decree case! I had other attorneys before I hired her and my only regret that I hadn’t done it sooner! She is action oriented, responsive, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable with strategies that she knows are in the best interest of my son and I. I would highly recommend Kady and her team. She is an exceptional family attorney and I truly feel “safe” with her in my corner.

Men beware! You will receive the #1 worst representation for your divorce case. You will pay top fees, receive the worst representation, lose your case, your pride and suffer humiliation. Upon the many errors made by Sarah (a seasoned veteran) including corrections from the judge in her miscalculations, upon reviewing a document to be submitted to the courts we discovered it was a prewritten template to represent women. Sarah charged not only for that template and all the errors of misrepresentation but the many corrections that were pointed out to be changed. This was at best the norm throughout the representation. Unfortunately her paralegal presented worse calculations and errors again charging for the corrections needed to be made. It’s a known fact men in divorce cases get screwed by the court system - don’t add insult to injury paying top dollar for poor representation. Upon interviewing new representation and speaking to a lawyer outside the Harris Law Firm. He informed me The Harris Law Firm has the worst reputation as he has won 9 out of his 10 cases against this firm. After paying over $53,000 in fees to The Harris Law Firm the firm was contacted to place a complaint and they expressed no remorse. Hence after terminating Sarah’s services they charged additional $800 plus in services that was NOT requested.

Great team. It's usually better working with a larger firm like this so that there is more brain power made available. Especially in complex divorce cases. Would highly recommend. Thanks!

I contacted Harris Family Law to initiate and complete my divorce in June of 2022 -I never felt like the attorneys at Harris Family Law gave my case the attention it deserved. Tasks they said they would complete didn't get done on time because some other case was more important. -I had many instances where my attorney at Harris Family Law would not respond to me in a timely manner, causing me undue stress and confusion. -I actually had to replace my first attorney at Harris Family Law due to lack of responsiveness. -The attorneys at Harris Family Law all appear to work remotely and are reluctant to work with you in person. I would have preferred my Attorney be with me physically, at my side, during a stressful mediation. -The attorneys at Harris Family Law seem to not know how to properly negotiate, they are very quick to threaten and escalate with opposing counsel, and seem to prefer dragging the case into court, with all the extra legal bills that goes along with dragging a divorce case in front of a judge. -I'd be happy to speak, in depth, to anyone considering using Harris Family Law to handle a divorce proceeding.

Rachael Kamlet and Jason Thacher were both wonderful. I had a very high-profile divorce and family case, and the encouragement and knowledge of these attorney's was not only a saving grace but very professional reliable, and reassuring. I would recommend them and their law firm a million times over. It's a worthy investment for your family matter and they will take very good care of you in regard to your matter. They were able to help me in every aspect which was quite the range and I felt taken care of and assured every time. The firm as a whole, including paralegals, receptionists, billing department and more are very helpful and reliable also. They really care at Harris and Law and I wouldn't have made it through my case or my journey without their protection and help. Thank you all!
