Especially if you develop a relationship with your attorney that's rooted in trust and openness (yes, YOU have to do this if you want to extract the highest and best value of good counsel!), you will learn a lot and become a better decision-maker and advocate for your own best interests -- something that will serve you long after your matter is resolved. Rich is a skilled, experienced, thoughtful advisor, so give yourself the opportunity to be advised, in addition to being "fought for". In addition, Rich's staff colleagues are responsive and professional, while also being friendly and accessible. If you are reading this review, it likely means that you are in a difficult situation, soon will be, or would like to prevent one from arising in the future. Take a deep breath. We hired Harris Law Firn as we were told they were the best. Instead our experience was the absolute worst! Starting from the top down with Rich Harris. There was a general lack of concern for a lengthy and complicated divorce for our family member who we were paying for. This was during 2021-2022 and while covid bans were lifted everywhere after months on the case they refused to ever meet in person as our family member had not been vaccinated. Everything was done over the phone and never once in person. Come to find out our junior attorney who was in charge of the case didnt even live in Colorado! No wonder they wouldnt meet in person! From there things got worse! Missed meetings and a general disregard for our case and the well being of the children. We were juggled around with different attorneys and big and important decisions were not explained or talked about missing critical dates and deadlines and severely damaging our case. They would sit on correspondence from the other side for more than a week and not tell us until 4pm on the night before our deadline requiring hours upon hours of work compiling documents that had been requested days before from the other side. One of the attorneys I spoke with said we were one of 70 cases he was actively working on and that it was impossible for him to remember all the details of every case. We were treated like a number. They never even knew the children's names. The level of our frustration got so bad that after repeated attempts and conversations with Rich Harris himself and over a year of working with them we ended up leaving the firm and seeking new counsel after spending close to $100k. We have been told from other attorneys that the things they did would constitute malpractice. They had no organizational skills, they didnt advise us on critical decisions, they missed meetings and forgot to file important documents. When we switched law firms they werent cooperative in handing over our files until demanded it. Really the only thing they were on top of was billing! All around this was infuriating and damaging to the outcome of our case and I would never recommend them to anyone. We dont need lawyers often and during the time of our darkest hour when we needed them the most, we were given the lowest level of service and care possible. It was actually heartbreaking. I write this review 2 years later. I am not one to write bad reviews and try to give others the benefit of a doubt. Even after a self imposed cooling-down period, I had to post this in order to save another innocent family who needs someone who cares in their corner. Unfortunately these are not the ones who can deliver that or competent legal advise in the face of adversity.

I can’t say enough horrible things about this law firm. They represented me so horrendously I can’t even begin. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!!!! My attorney intentionally held back information from me that prevented me from resolving this case with my ex husband months sooner. Why?? Well because if you resolve your case quickly they don’t get paid and they only care about your money! Then they tried to send me some contract where I don’t owe them as much money but in exchange I can’t tell the world how awful they are. Essentially hush money. The Harris law firm actually did such a bad job representing me that I un-divorced my husband and re-filed without an attorney… 30k later. Seriously, go anywhere else.

Attorney Kim Gent and paralegal Maureen McAllister helped me with a difficult divorce involving very young children. They are professional and very good at what they do. I would recommend them to any of my friends.

Adoption Law involving another state can be confusing and stressful. I cannot place to words how much I appreciate the constant communication, guidance, and support from Roselyn Klinzman-Bogs. Dan Droege and Roselyn took care of all the legal issues through my divorce. They were responsive & followed what I wanted to do, but made sure all the legal parts were done correctly. It was great to have a team I could count on to cover the technical pieces.
