I called for a consultation and even though I live out of the Denver area, was provided with very helpful legal guidance for my situation. Very considerate people.

I called about a landlord tenant issue. I spoke with Floyd. He was kind, optimistic and extremely helpful. Most places charge you for every little thing that goes on. He spoke with me for at least 15 20 minutes, no charge. Their prices are much much lower than any other attorney I spoke with. I cant tell you how much I recommend this law firm. These people are not in it for the money. They are really here to help people. They really are a Godsend .

Guess I called too close to closing. Very rude service from the start. When asked what kind of things can you help with? I got answers like “uhh we help tenants.” And “sigh...what does your paper say?” “That’s not the question I asked you “ “it’s a yes or no answer please.” I finally had to snap back and say “look! I’m calling you because your called eviction defense HELPLINE. Which I thought a quick consultation would educate me a little with what I was favoring since this is my first ever eviction and late rent charge. She left me with “looks like your going to have to look into emergency housing resources.” The site says they give you those resources but she acted like they were not existent. I left the call more distraught then before.

Floyd= rude, abrupt, money motivated interest only, lightly informative and not well educated on tenant law it seems. He seemed to think the Colorado courts law stating a defendant being summoned to court has to be given 7 days "between" the date he/she was served and the court date was not cause for a dismissal in the case. I was served on the 9th and my court date is on the 16th, that is not 7 days, "in between" being served and my court date Mr. Bigshot Floyd! No college here bud but I can Google Colorado law enough to know you know not what you preach or your firm is funded by the #1 eviction law firm. Ha! Denial of due process is just fine in Colorado right Floyd? Hahahaha

Floyd was amazing and he let us know our options even though we were out of his jurisdiction. Will call again.

I contacted them when my former landlord (who was very aggressive) was trying to wrongfully retain a majority of what was a very large rental deposit while ignoring my texts and calls about it. CALS collected the necessary info on my case and gave me instructions on writing a demand letter as well as some helpful info that pertained to my situation free of charge. Within 2 days of her receiving my demand letter, the landlord totally changed tune and agreed to return most of it, so luckily I didn't need to bother take it to small claims!

I cannot say enough positive things about Ms. Jones and her office staff. From the first call I made to her office to ongoing advice over the past 8 months when dealing with a Greystar property and another tenant. First, her office staff who answers the phone is incredibly prompt and provides respect and dignity in times of frustration. Ms. Jones during my consultation was polite, took the time to answer all my questions, and provided guidance when I would have never been able to figure out the entire legal process on my own. I cannot say how greatful I am for her expertise! Ms. Jones goes above and beyond what “I paid for” and has often offered her own personal time to get back to my emails with last minute questions. Ms. Jones allows you to tell your story, she is so easy to talk with that sometimes I had to remind myself to stop and listen to her. So please if anyone is reading this and needs guidance through legal matters please consider Ms. Jones. To Ms. Jones if you are reading this please keep doing what you do, it is really appreciated!
