Dan was awesome. He made all of my troubles go away and I didn't even have to appear in Court!!! I couldn't be happier. It was the best money I spent all year and he made it affordable for me! Thank you so much Dan for all you did for me!!!!

Alaurice handled my case excellently from start to finish- she was referred to me to help me seal my record, and throughout the very long process she was attentive, professional, quick to respond and helped me get the resolution I was hoping for.

I was a young adult and had Mr. Gerash represent me in two felony cases. He charged me enormous fees and didnt fight for me at all. He had me accept a plea bargen by scaring me into believing if I lost a trial I could go to prison. He in no way cares about his clients and is looking for easy money from people that dont know any better. Later I realized the case I was charged with should have not been a felony, most lawyers would have jnown enough to fight for me. Find a different lawyer; best decision you could ever make

I will not go into specifics of my case, but I will state that Alaurice Tafoya-Modi was very dedicated in helping me get the best outcome she could for me. She was also very caring and concerned towards myself and my family during the trying situation. She worked hard on my case to be able to give me the best information and defense she could for my specific circumstances. I had to change lawyers due to the financial burden and requested a public defender. I qualified for a public defender but due to conflict of interest on another case I was referred to an alternate defense attorney. The courts referred me to Alaurice. Even though she was appointed to me by the courts, she treated my case, my family and myself as though we were her only client and concentrated on us. I would not have asked for a better person to help defend me in any case! Thank you for all you did Alaurice!

I was dragged into a nation wide synthetic marijuana case by managing a store. The paperwork was over multiple defendants and so was astounding, confusing and overwhelming. Mrs. Alaurice Tafoya-Modi handled the case with grace and determination. Had I not decided to take a plea deal I have full faith she would have fought to the death. I could feel she believed in me and could sympathize with the situation. She was willing to talk to my mother who was very concerned and updated her on the case with better helping me to understand as well. There was never any point I felt like she didn't do everything that could be done. She's a good person to have in your corner.

I've been in trouble with the law a few times and I've had some good representation and some bad representation. But by far, Ms.Tafoya was the best representation I've ever had and it was for a case that I WAS SURE TO BE PUT IN PRISON FOR. She showed/argued my good characters amidst all the negative things the prosecution had to say about me. The judge listened to the way she was able to put things into perspective and granted me a second chance. Arguments are very important in a court of law and Ms.Tafoya may be the best in the state of Colorado..

In June of 2014 I recieved a moving violation ticket which because I was on probation, was going to severely affect my driving record as well as potientially send me to jail for the unrelated felony. Alaurice did an excellent job of following my case and being proactive in communicating to me the various choices I could make. This advise was extremely helpful for me to determine what course of action I would take in my case. Once I had determined my action , Alaurice gave me the pros/cons of each of my decisions. Her knowledge of this process was very helpful and her positive attitude carried me through a very difficult time. As a result of her very proficiant knowledge and drive the moving violation was dismissed and the felony conviction was finalized.
