Mr. Berkus lives in Denver and therefore isn't close enough for what our issues are at the moment. However, because of the detailed responses he gave us and even follow-up, I gave the above rating, and would definitely hire him if he were in our area. I may contact him regarding a living will anyway at some future point.

I've known and worked with Trent for over 10 years. I am very familiar with his law practice and the quality representation that he provides. Trust me on this, he is very, very good at what he does. I've seen him help people in the worst of circumstances. He is a great criminal attorney, but he is also very honest and straight forward. He isn't going to boast that he can do things for you, or help you in ways, that he can't just to get you to hire him. He is going to tell you the truth from day number one. Probably the most important thing that people considering his services should know is that, just like his website states, he is very compassionate about every client that he represents. He truly does care about the person and the person's family. He is going to do everything that he can to help make sure that whatever it is happening isn't going to ruin the rest of your life. I highly recommend him.

Trent was the first attorney that returned my call...it was urgent for me to find an attorney that would have the time to give me. He and I met immediately to discuss my issue. I could have been put behind bars...but, due to Trent's quickness and professional ethics we met and discussed my case. I was facing jail time and community service.
