I went through a contentious divorce in 2008 followed by ongoing custody issues in 2012. During this time I was accused of Domestic Violence and Child Abuse which did cause emotional and financial hardship but did not result in a conviction. More recently my daughter is marrying into a family that hunts and others in my network of friends target practice at firing ranges. Until now gun rights were not a priority to me and now that they are I was concerned about the status of my rights and stepping afoul of the law if I tried to purchase a firearm.
