I have had a great experience with Boxelder Consulting & Tax Relief for my tax needs and back tax advice. I followed Tim's advice to a "T" and am on the road to a successful tax recovery! Thank you for helping and get my taxes on track again.

I started working with Tom and his team about a year ago regarding a complex tax assessment issue I was facing as I moved through a divorce. I also needed to file taxes on my own for the first time and wanted to work with one company inclusive and aware of all issues. I’m thankful to have found Boxelder Consulting and am so happy to report the looming tax issue is now correctly resolved in my favor and two years of taxes successfully filed as well. Huge relief….Many thanks along the way to Tom, Carli and Mason, job well done!

Had a quick question about IRS collections and was able to speak to someone super fast.

I was happy with the work they did over the 2.5 years I've used them, they set up my LLC, they helped with my taxes, and book keeping help. They were always helpful and upon my first meeting with them they told me to call if I had a quick question. I tried that today. I called with a quick question and said anyone there could probably answer it. The receptionist told me she would have someone call me back. I've called their office maybe 4 times in the 2.5 years I've used them. Tom called me back, I asked my quick question, and was immediately told "We normally charge $350 and we have a massive deadline Monday," to which I immediately apologized and then was told "if I answered all of my clients quick questions I'd be on the phone all day." I understand that he may have been stressed but I have been nothing but a good client to them. A simple "please send me an email and we will get back with you" would have worked just fine. Please don't tell your clients that they can call with questions if you don't actually mean it. They do good work but I will never use them again because of how I was treated today. I did not deserve that treatment and if you are reading this and you decide to use them, I hope you are treated better.

Was mislead around what services they would provide in initial "sell." When I inquired later, was told I misunderstood. Was misled around their willingness to provide a flexible payment plan with them; I was given 3 weeks to pay and they suggested I "borrow the money from family or a friend." Was bounced from person to person, always someone new. Sat through 1 hour meetings with people I'd never met (some of which never even introduced themselves), unpacking my personal info only to be told they didn't realize they couldn't help me and we had to wait another year. Communication consists of sending an invoice and contract to sign over and over. Was told that, to have my questions answered and better understand my filing, I could pay for a meeting. I went to Boxelder to reduce my stress but it increased it, and I was able to negotiate my own payment plan independently, for free. I believe this firm's ideal client is of a higher income bracket. As such, I didn't have a good experience. I had made my concerns known only to be dismissed. And so, have ceased working with them or making further attempts to communicate my needs.

The team at Boxelder helped me resolve an IRS mistake of a large sum of money. Although it is never fun to have to pay someone to help fix the government's mistakes, the team resolved my issue and stayed in contact with me frequently. I would definitely recommend Boxelder and use them again when needed. Thank you all.

Tom provided me with a wonderful 30 minute free consultation. He was very friendly and helpful and I will definitely plan to contact them when I'm ready to use their services.

Rating 5 stars for their honesty and not wasting time. I contacted Boxelder Consulting for help on foreign taxes and some issues that have arose in my tax return. Although Tom Conradt was extremely motivated and wanted to help, he informed me right away that foreign taxes where not his specialty and recommended another tax / attorney firm. I felt compelled to write this review for his honesty and overall saving me money.
