When the unthinkable happened and I was blindsided and gut punched after more than 25 years in my profession in caring for and serving others as a nurse and suddenly all that is challenged over unsubstantiated claims, it felt like the bottom had dropped out of life and a future in my chosen career. So I called the Law Office of Matthew Hand after researching and reading his reviews and focus of expertise dealing with an issue like mine. I put what felt like my entire career in his hands even though it wasn't actually that dire yet was emotionally crushing having a complaint filed with DORA. He handled my case with great care, concern, his expertise and knowledge of pertinent law, insight, organization, clear explanations, relevant key questions and outstanding ethics. He listened with attention to detail and made sure everything was accurate and true and backed it up with rock solid facts. He let me know of all the possible outcomes and what he would be asking the Board of Nursing for based on the evidence and law presented. After careful consideration the Board dismissed the complaint and stated their decision was "a final action and is not subject to appeal." Justice has been served. Matt represented me in a case where false allegations were reported to the BON against my nursing license.
