I had a long, complex workman's comp case that took awhile because it was ever-changing with new treatments, surgeries, hearings ... but from our very first meeting, I felt comfortable I chose the right firm. The staff was always professional and understanding. Mike and Tammy especially, made me feel like I was family and handled me and my case like they would their own. I hope I don't have the need for an attorney again, but if I do, I'll be coming back to Kaplan Morrell!

I contacted Sidney Roman after my car got rear ended and we were getting nowhere with the insurance companies. I am so glad I did! from the beginning I was super impressed with how he was on top of everything and went above and beyond. He sets your expectations about the process, is quick to get things done, and is constantly in communication with you. Just as important, he holds the insurance companies accountable and makes sure that you get the medical care/therapy you need. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Rhonda and Margaret were extremely helpful. They fought for me and because of that I was able to receive a settlement from workers comp. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help with workman compensation.

We used Jennifer for our CFI Investigation a year ago. Jennifer did a great job on her interviews and report. Her report and investment into our case was initially great. Jennifer's report revealed problems in the mother-son relationship and she really listened to what the kids wanted. However, when it came time to testify in court (which took up the entire hour we had in court), she didn't say anything to the judge that was in her report and completely backed down when standing up for what the kids wanted or backing what was in her report in regards to custody. So, if you suspect she will have to testify in court, I wouldn't use her.

This group was so helpful. My case was a little tricky but Rhonda and Margaret helped me throughout the entire process. I was great full to have them on my side. My experience with Kaplan Morell was a little unique in that I am not one of their clients. I have an older worker’s compensation benefits case and my attorney is encouraging me to settle it. I needed another opinion and a little better understanding of Workers Comp settlements. Michael Kaplan was referred to me and he contacted me right away. He was very thoughtful to do that so fast. It was ironic that he knew my lawyer and has for many years. He spoke highly of my attorney’s experience and knowledge. It was great to hear that personal connection and it was good data for my second opinion. If I had a Workman’s Compensation case, I would contact Michael Kaplan from Kaplan Morell. He was helpful and nice, even for my call which was just for a second opinion. It speaks volumes that he would take a few minutes to talk to me and help ease my mind about my decision.

Elissa is amazing! Sadly, I've had a few different attorneys since it seems like something is always coming up and Elissa has been the best, she'll listen and advise, but also push back on me when she feels like I'm being unreasonable, and alternatively she'll push back on me if she feels like I'm giving in too easily. It's a great balance. I highly recommend Elissa and Andrea!
