I followed Joanna Floribus from her previous firm to Burnham Law. In short, Joanna is a compassionate, brilliant and powerful woman who acts with dignity while cleverly strategizing and preparing for every possible outcome for her clients. Whether it's while on her feet in the courtroom, while in preparation, while choosing exhibits, while responding quickly in the moment to antagonistic and, at time, emotionally unstable opposing counsel, Joanna has always been stable, patient, honest, intelligent, and engaging (especially to the judge). Her commitment to representing my case extended into her personal research and interviewing experts so that she could excellently represent me, my case, the law, my innocence, and the unlawful, manipulative, hypocritical and vindictive intentions of the opposing party. I would want no mother to experience the hell of the past two years of my life, but if you have to go through a divorce or custody battle, you want Joanna by your side. This could have taken a lot longer. Even worse, I could have lost... God forbid. Thank you Burnham Law for taking a hard case regarding a topic with no existing case law and representing a woman who was truly at her wits end, not knowing how I was every going to feel peace again... let alone just survive the onslaught financially from my accuser's seemingly unlimited funds and time resources, all devoted to hurting me and my son. I hope I never have to go through a modicum of the pain of my divorce or the ensuing six years of legal battles, but if I am called to defend my rights and my son, I will not hesitate. So, too, will I not hesitate to call you to represent me and my boy.

Ask for Joanna, she cares about her clients to a degree that is rarely seen in her field. She handled my very long and complex divorce with the utmost care and integrity. Joanna was there for us at the darkest moment in our lives, she will always be like family to my son and I.

Stay away. A big trap liars firm. I will explain in detail soon… I am even not sure if Jared west has a law degree. Nothing made sense, misled me many times. Poorly handled my case. I will take your money and leave you in dust.

Very very very disappointed in this law firm!! My younger brother Jay recently went through a contentious divorce - I don’t feel this law firm represented his best interest but at the end of the day I think the judges ruling was fair - so essentially they did their JOB ? The most atrocious part of this entire review is the following Unfortunately my 43 year old brother recently passed away unexpectedly & this law firm had the gall to bill his retainer account to remove themselves from his divorce filings - they did this after they were advised he had passed away & without any authorization Essentially robbing funds from the estate of his three daughters 10, 8 & 6 I own a construction business so I’ve been around a lot of lawyers in my day and at the end of the day these people are as low as you get !! The worst part is I get some “to whom it may concern” email from Leslie Shafer - Managing Partner !!! It’s funny the Moniker on their website WIN and move on ! Yes You Are Correct !!

Burnham Law helped me with a domestic matter. I used another law firm for this matter but the case stalled. Anthony Zarsky helped me to get the case moving in a timely m anner. I recieved everything I asked for from the court. I now have peace of mind knowing the case is finally resolved. I started this t his case about five years ago, the Burnham resolved it in about 7 months.

AWFUL! I'm a mother of three children and have been to court time after time due to custody issues with my ex husband. I had used 2 previous law firms in the past and was unhappy with both law firms . So I did my research before hiring yet another law firm. I called the Burnham law firm after reviewing many others as I felt they would be the best fit. After a lengthy phone conversation with one of the attorney's who worked for the Burnham law firm, I was sold and set up a face to face consultation. I left the face to face consultation confident and happy as I felt that the attorney understood my case and was going to help me in court, even though I had to put down a hefty retainer fee. After a few months I began to get a little worried about choosing this firm. I had not gotten any results thus far and was ask to put down more money! I had already invested so much money already, I felt like it would be all for not if I did not pay more. Soon after I paid another retainer fee, I was contacted by my attorney and informed after much review from the Burnham law firm board they were going to drop me as a client due to a conflict of interest!  Come to find out they had hired an attorney that my ex-husband had used in years past!! They did not offer me any type of resolution due to no fault of my own, and in fact, asked me to pay more money!! I explained to them that I have already invested a HUGE amount of money in them thus far and I can't afford to give them more money and turn around and hire another attorney. I was completely at a loss and felt so taken advantage of!! I offered to make payments but was quickly rejected.  I picked myself up for my kids sake and found a GREAT attorney. A few months went by and I was contacted by a collection agency who are acting on behalf of the Burnham law firm. They explained that not only would I need to pay the ridiculous amount of money the Burnham law firm felt I owed, but now I needed to also pay interest!! Needless to say I never saw a day in court using the Burnham law firm and I was still paying months and months later!! In response to your response to my review: There was no issue with my case. The fact of the matter is that your company simple failed to protect me as a client! You had to dismiss me as a client not becuase there were weaknesses in my case, but because you hired a attorney my ex previously used. Even if there were weaknesses in my case, your response is that your firm will take on a case, take ones money and if the case starts to have a weaknesses you drop the client? I have all the email correspondence saying where your firm admits that you hired my ex-husbans old attorneyand thereforecan no longer represent me! If you cared at all about your clients, you should have either waited until my case was over to bring the new attorney on board to your firm or refunded my money. To anyone reading this, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HEARTACHE AND USE ANOTHER FIRM.

I was fortunate to find this law firm! My lawyer, Riley Scott, is a rock star she has been wonderful handling my divorce. She has been very communicative informing me of the process and what to expect every step of the way. Katherine Adams my paralegal has been wonderful as well. I want to also give a shout out to their developers on creating their own financial software for Sworn Financial Statements. Being a financial geek, the software is very detailed, clear and concise. This team is stellar!
