Darin Mangnall is the best lawyer that I have ever worked with. He treated me with the utmost respect. Darin made me feel like I wasn’t just a client, but a friend. He worked diligent on my case, and got me a very fair deal while dealing with a tough judge. He’s knowledge of the law is outstanding. I just got out of court today for a DUI above .2. Darin made my life so much easier than I had expected this process to be. As a first time offender, and completely blind to the system and how the legal system works, Darin was a knowledgeable reference and did not waste my time. He went to all hearings, was timely, and never made me feel like I was a burden to his schedule or that he was not interested in my case. My fears of jail did not come to reality, as we went into a plea deal, Darin talked me up in a very professional manner to the judge, which ultimately lead to no Jail or In Home detention that is mandatory via Colorado DUI laws for people in my situation. The outcome came out much more favorably than I had expected. I am very happy I hired Darin to represent me through this process. I would recommend him and his firm Mossinghoff Mangnall to anyone seeking counsel. Thank you Darin! I can't tell you that enough!

Mr. Mangnall was with Fife, Mangnall, and Mossinghoff when we hired the firm to defend my son in a DUI case. Darin came to court to represent my son in a motions hearing before the trial. Five minutes before entering the courtroom (mind you, this was a motions hearing) ... his advise was for my son to plead guilty that day, and maybe the judge with go easy on him because he's taking responsibly. This... after many months of hearing from this firm that you "never just plead guilty, and give up your day in court". My son plead guilty that day, and I later confirmed my suspicions in a meeting with Mr. Fife, and Mr. Mangnall in their office... that Mr. Mangnall knew nothing about my son's case (we were mostly working with Mr. Fife), and didn't bother to educate himself on my son's case before arriving that day, so in turn... to save his own skin, because he was unprepared to represent my son that day in court... Mr. Mangnall told him to plead guilty. And watch out for the classic lawyer line "if it were my son, that's what I'd advise him to do". I fell for it. Mr. Mangnall's disingenuous advise robbed my son of his right to a defense, and he never got his day in court.

Darin has represented my son for 2.5 hears and has done an excellent job. It was reassuring during a stressful time to know that your phone calls/emails would be answered or returned promptly. Darin was always timely, knowledgeable and well prepared. He was truly concerned about my son's well being. I hope someday I have the chance to comfort Darin as he has done for me on many occasions. Darin Magnall was very trustworthy and always prepared. His communication was always a comfort. He represented me in multiple cases that could have ended badly but he got me out of it and never gave up. II would highly recommend him for anyone facing a dui or any other serious. traffic violations.

Darin Mangnall was very knowledgeable and told me what was reasonable to expect. The outcome was close to what he told me to expect (actually better). When I called he either talked to me at that moment or returned my call promptly. In the one instance where he was unavailable, his partner, Dan Mossinghoff, filled in seamlessly. His experience working in the Douglas County prosecutors office prepared him well for the defense side of the case.

Hello, Although many, if not most, Colorado attorneys routinely persuade their clients to accept the hollow plea bargains offered by prosecutors, Fife, Mangnall & Mossinghoff will actually FIGHT for the rights of the innocent! In a legal system controlled by special interest groups with plenty of grant money--and by law enforcement agencies who seem to be proud of their numbers of citations and arrests, lawful or not, it's refreshing to find attorneys who believe in the often overlooked concept of justice. As Lawrence Taylor wrote in www.duiblog.com, there is a "DUI Exception To The Constitution" which should cause citizens to create a huge public outcry against the blatant injustices which often railroad the innocent into being charged with prefabricated, pretext substitutes for legitimate probable cause. Many attorneys simply sigh, and go through the motions of representing you. However, THIS firm uses their years of experience and extensive knowledge of the highly technical aspects of DUI and Criminal Defense to fight...and to win!
