For Erica Johnson Excellent advice for our unusual estate planning. Timely in process and follow up.

Jason offered excellent service and was able to get my spousal maintenance payments terminated after I retired.

Wow! I got took! This guy sent me a bill for breathing! He missed TWO, count ‘em, TWO court appearances, and still charged me, AND he lost my case! I will admit, Jason is a charming, articulate young man, but…….”One who overbills , and doesn’t show up” simply doesn’t win the race! My suggestion, keep looking for a lawyer!

Beth was wonderful in helping my wife and I set up power of attorney, living will, and contingent beneficiaries. Beth's advice really helped us navigate the process (more to it than we expected), and now we feel that we have a good plan in place when one or both of us dies. My only suggestion for folks considering AKMJ is to come prepared with questions ahead of time rather than trying to think of them in their office. There are so many things to consider. We highly recommend AKMJ!

Our former attorney retired, and we had been procrastinating securing a new firm to update our estate plan. We have known about this firm for many years and when our two friends told us what an excellent experience they had with Erica Johnson, we decided to make an appointment. Erica made us totally comfortable from our first phone meeting. She has a remarkable ability to make some very technical legal information easily understandable. With each subsequent Zoom meeting, she carefully outlined what we needed to do next and helped us fine-tune details so that everything would be exactly how we wanted it to be by the time our final office visit to sign the documents was scheduled. If we had questions and emailed Erica, she quickly replied. When arriving at the office, we felt we already knew Erica, and the meeting went very smoothly. We required updating our trusts following a move to Colorado, as well as fine tuning some of our desires. The process of working with Erica Johnson was efficient, with good tools to document our requirements. When discussing some options for our estate, Erica advised pragmatically while allowing us to choose the right decision. The completed plan was thorough and well documented. Not a complaint, but Erica is very busy, so expect some time between initiation and completion of Estate Plan!
