SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I hired Mary Walsh, originally she was with a different firm and moved to Gem fam law in the middle of my custody case, 1st red flag! I was only a client for a little more than 6 months and accumulated over $10,000 in debt. They were charging me more a month then I could even afford to pay. And that’s only from their correspondence with the courts and my ex-wife’s lawyer. Or as Mary calls it,”the litigation process”. All in all they produced zero results and withdrew from my case just before my court date. If you want a firm that’s just gonna take your money and leave you high and dry, you found one! Very disappointing when your kids future is on the line, they flat out don’t care about anything except getting paid! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!

I hired GEM Family Law to get paid back from my ex for expenses he refused to reimburse me for our son. They took my case and got me paid what he owed me. Thanks to them I don't have to deal with him anymore. Thank you so much for getting me the money that I deserved!! My son now has a nice new car!!

Ted and team came through on a complicated situation. If you need a strong advocate for your case, Ted will take any hurdles head on and fight for you.

Took them a very long time to draw up a very standard contract. Had to wrote multiple follow up email to get things done. Final contract missing signature pages. Not very professional. I am not sure whether they are just very over extended and have more clients/cases than they can handle in timely manner or if small cases are just not priority.

They are very professional, and know the law regarding probate, elder law and many things associated with these topics and more. Very personable and easy to work with.

Mrs. Moodie made several promises during the initial intake interview. But after they were hired, nothing that was promised was delivered. She was never up to speed or prepared. They missed several court deadlines and charged me to ask for an extension from the court. They copied and pasted a Motion to the Court that my prior attorney previously wrote and provided them, yet they charged me as if they wrote it. If you complain about the poor service, Mrs. Moodie with file a Mandatory Withdrawal, which means you asked her to do something unethical. Which in turn, makes you look bad to the Court. I would not recommend them to anyone. Mrs. Moodie literally withdrew 2 days to the final hearing date, leaving us high and dry.
